Re: "who controls the money controls the Planet!" Agreed. One of the first agenda items for Congress when they re-convene is the re-authorization of the Import-Export Bank. I hope and pray that those voting during this election cycle are not bamboozled, but hold Congress to a higher standard. America is in dire straits. Thanks for the encouragement and greeting. SA

You're right about the "birdbrains" who conducted the study on bird deaths. Here are the facts: http://www.alleycat.org/page.aspx?pid=945

I suspect that what the President said he would do was to cut the yearly budget deficit in half, not the national debt.

You see, since we produce more, there's more of it on the world's market available, which helps to keep the price lower than higher. Same when OPEC members or other pump out more. If didn't produce more and if we weren't using less, the prices would be higher.

You might want to buy gas before it goes up at the pump more.

"I thought Fracking was suppose to free us from the Middle East Oil. I guess it is time for more Americans to die to protect the profits of the Oil Companies." As much as I hate how much we're fracking and all the water pollution they're creating along with the increase in earthquakes, if we didn't do some of it, we'd already see oil at $125 or more a barrel and gas at $4.25 a gallon and more. No need to rush it there, and it's going to be $5 to $14 a gallon for gas and $150 to $220 a barrel for oil soon enough. I'm already poor enough, pay too much for food and can't afford much of anything any longer and I don't need all the price increases that are coming.
