• Please can I have your vote for my article, "Deep in the Amazon, a Tiny Tribe Is Beating Big Oil " Can you also enlist others to vote for it as well? For anyone who needs it, on the main page, on the left side, under "all recent news" click on it and you will see the article and can vote for it.

I believe that the best way to charge for highways is based on miles and weight of the vehicle. This is best as it is the closet measurement that related to the costs of maintaining a highway. So I would support something like E-ZPass for all state highways. And the E-ZPass needs to be set up based on vehicles maximum weight limit and charges should increase with higher weight limits. The heavier vehicles cause most of the damage to the roadways and make for most of the cost of maintaining the roadways. As such that is the best way to charge for highway use.

The study was designed to get rid of red light cameras. Rear end collisions are not caused by red light cameras. Rear End collisions are caused by drivers following too closely and by drivers not paying attention. It is not wake up city hall. It is wake up drivers. Along with the cameras citations for following too closely are needed to make them work. ........

A BIG CONGRATS on reaching that 2M mark and your nice new ride! Wow! Truly awesome! Keep leading the way for others to follow here in GasBuddyland! More than 90% of all the GBs that signed up over the past 13+ years will never make it to 1M points, most GBs quit before they even get close, and there are only 3,824 GBs out of more than 8 million GBs that have reached 2M points! Others ahead of you have retired, so there is lots of room at that 3M milestone, there are only 1,417 GBs that have continued on to 3M, most GBs retire between 3M and 4M! Keep going, don't stop now! It's nice seeing you come back each day as I track your progress to that 3M milestone and beyond! Thanks buddy for your 7+ years of dedication here on GasBuddy! Have a nice week! Ron

Whether we export or not has little to do with the price we pay. It generally os the wold's price that has the most effect. And in some cases the more produce here in the USA the lower the price is world wide. Besides the fact that we are a free country, you can sell your services basically to anyone in the world and so can businesses. If we limit the exporting then they will limit there production and employment in the USA. And that is not a good idea.
