My response to "Ralfmor" on posting cash/credit prices was to link to the posting guidelines here:http://www.illinoisgasprices.com/Forum_MSG.aspx?master=1&category=1195&topic=129754&page_no=1&FAV=N
Where it clearly states: Posting Cash/Credit Prices.
Differences in cash/credit prices are common in some areas as a result of stations needing to offset the additional costs of credit/debit transactions.
When reporting prices for stations in areas that have different prices based on method of payment, we ask that you post the cash price where it exists. Because GasBuddy is intended to help our users find the lowest prices, in areas where cash/credit prices are applicable, ultimately the cash price is the lowest price. If the station does not offer a cash price, then the standard price should be reported.
