It is a 1928 Bentley 4.5 litre. It belonged to a neighbor. I was priviliged to drive ir twice. One of these in similar configuration won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1929. If you want to read one of the greatest races of all time that is one. Driving one is utterly unlike a modern car. It was oneof the fastest cars of the 20. We hsd it up to 85 the day we drove it. It was happpyat that speed!

Well, I try to do as much as possible. Glad that you didn't think my invitation was "weird". I thought about it after I offered and hoped you didn't get the wrong impression. Just a lot more fun to hunt with somebody else as opposed to by yourself.

I know what you mean about Dallas. Hard to find a place to hunt that doesn't cost a ton. I lived down there from 88-92 and it was a pain then. Well, if you're ever heading up to KC, give a shout. Maybe we could do some hunting. The pictures I posted are from a hunting ranch just south of KC. The prices are very reasonable - even for out of state. Since it is on a ranch, you don't need an out of state license. You just need a harvest tag that you buy at the ranch. $17.50 for the tag, $85 for 4 pheasant or 5 chuckar (your choice), and an afternoon of hunting them up. Beats the cost of anything I've come across yet.

Hi patino007, You mad a great comment about today's news item: "Ethanol in gasoline: What impact on cars, consumers?" In my opinion, E-10 reduces the production of poisonous carbon monoxide, but we should never use higher amounts of ethanol in our gasoline. Want to become buddies??? Warren :-)
