That's a shame what they've done; that make the fuel state specific, which keeps the prices higher, much like they do in California. It's really a bunch of nonsense what they're doing. It could all be simplified, vehicles could get better fuel economy, which would reduce the amount of total pollutants [they refuse to look at it that way, and go by what a gallon of fuel will have for pollution content versus how far a vehicle can go] and we should be doing a lot more with hydrogen. At least we're doing a bit more with NG though now. Not enough and too bad they're still doing ethanol predominantly from corn.

""National hike hits across the country due to EPA reformulations..." Don't put all your faith in there reporting as that's NOT the only reason alone the price of gas and fuels and other things are up. Anyhow, it still proves to be interesting that your prices for fuel in the area are down a bit from when I said they'd be going up. Your area went a bit differently; but it'll be going up a bit more now along with a few other areas that didn't. You'll be up at least by 12 to 17 cents a gallon, possibly as much as 30 to 35 by the time it's all over with for the highs for your area. We're already at $3.70 a gallon here for the average, which is right on the money for the upper end of what I had expected for us. Hopefully, we'll be going down a bit within a matter of days, but it won't last long before they run it back up. Take care!

You might NOT have that price increase there. Your's stand a good chance of going down just a shade.

by LanguageMan1  Mar 18, 2014

Nothing like that around here, with the exception of one and I've already tried them in the past.

I see you're something of a geek like quite a few of us are. Be a bud.

Yes, on Dennis and his family. He was a good guy. Don't tell me that you're telling people that the price of fuel is going to go up as well? I see others mentioning it here. I do try to warn everyone just like I have for years. We should see the third round of price increases this week. You might get a fall in prices somewhat soon after they're higher here and elsewhere, though I think you'll go up as well first before going down.
