Mud, I just got back, an hour ago, from my property tax valuation appeal. I wish I had read your post first, the one you just posted in SS's AI thread. For me it was only about five percent, so I would not have hired an atty in any case. In my area the school district is not challenging any appeals, as we have a strong industrial and commercial base still supporting the district. But the district is broke and getting broker, just laid off another 40 teachers for next year.
