Braves are fortunate to have acquired Shelby Miller. I hated to see him leave the Cardinals.

[ CONTINUED] Everything looks mouthwatering, and it's difficult to choose only 2 (or 4) selections. There is often a crowd, especially at lunch and dinner times, so you pick a number -- you then spend the waiting time looking over the dishes and deciding which 2 (or 4) dishes you want - "I'll have that, and that, no wait, I want that, no wait, that looks bettter, no wait ..." . After you buy your plate lunch, don't forget to go to the condiment station and pick up your soy/mustard/hot sauces, chopsticks/fork, and napkins. Most people take the food to go, but there are tables and chairs. There is also have a limited selection of other Chinese food, like manapua (very popular), dimsum, eggroll, and they are pretty good too, but the main draw is the wide tasty selection of their main dishes. And for the amount of food they give, the price is reasonable too.

That Chinese restaurant is Chun Wah Kam (go to, and they have four Oahu eateries -- Kapolei, Waimalu (in Aiea), Kalihi, and Ala Moana. My wife and I buy a two-choice plate lunch (square clamshell compartmentalized styrofoam container) to take out, but they allow you to split each choice into two further choices, so you end up with four choices -- and with their wide selection, you have a hard time selecting what you want. In addition, the starch (rice, noodles) can be split into two choices too, and they have maybe 8-10 different starches to choose from. If you are really hungry, you can eat everything in one sitting. But if you have a normal appetite, the plate lunch can be good enough for two meals. My wife and I often buy a plate for lunch, then eat the left-over for dinner. The food is DELICIOUS! The dishes are displayed in front of you behind glass in heated steel containers so you pick and choose what you want. Everything looks mouthwatering, and it's difficult to

I grew up just outside Chicago, in Cicero & Berwyn. Left there in 57 with the Navy. I get back there every 5 years for class reunions. Another two years before I can get some fresh White Castle. Only get frozen out here. Much better fresh. Also some great Ialian Beef sandwiches with peppers.
