I miss Walter. Now you have to read between the lines anytime you're reading or listening to "news".

by dallfo  Jul 09, 2014

You are correct. Money influences everything. There is no such thing as unbiased data or news any longer. You have to read both sides and then make your own decisions. Unbiased news left when Walter Cronkite stopped broadcasting the national news.

Mind you, I'm a realist. I can extrapolate. I like and do math and have done some programming. Things will go better to a degree, we might even have another market crash, prices would drop, but then when everything looks like it might get back on track something will happen or they'll do something that will cause it all to happen. Those at the top are too damned greedy and when they get what they want, the rest of us will pay more. This Obamacare/ACA BS doesn't and didn't help any!

by LanguageMan1  Apr 29, 2014

Oh, and no, I won't be wrong on it. I'm not overly confident, I'm not self-centered or think that I'm infallible but I know I'm right. It's only a matter of time before prices are that high. We're already $1.89 to $2.29 at some stores for bread and the same for eggs. Only a few remain at $1.29 or less. It's mainly the Save-A-Lots, Aldis and discount bakery stores where you can find bread at a good price. Even Walmart isn't $1.09 any longer or 99 cents.
