Just have the one large turbine now, although I did have a smaller one that I retired before. Its made from a washing machine motor, and plastic pipe blades and a lot of ingenuity and some sweat, blood and tears lol. Other than having to move it, it works well. If you wanted to try one out Menards has a Coleman kit they sell, that puts out DC, or you can build your own out of an old car alternator(older ones work best) bunch of utube vids on it.

The company sent out 1 of their best techs in March, who adjusted and checked over the systems, and it has made a Huge difference since..a really sharp guy,and he knew what he was doing. I've been in my local areas ear also about Elc. trucks and now going to talk to the school bus system as Joe mentioned...those 2 users could made a enormous difference switching to electric, but school buses are known for being behind the times, they just started adding seat belts ;(

I do! Love it that is ;) generated 24 today, all while using 6-8 a day normally so were building stock too :). And you were right about the power Co.,they were very much a pia to deal with, especially since I've added solar and wind! They even made me move my turban recently(3rd time, long story) but they can interfere, not stop me.Know you asked about the wind,an feel bad I haven't written you details, but have been very busy, for instance had 2 trees taken out 4 the solar, and I took down another 4,and just now got rid of the last of the branches! My lumberjack days are over though, espc. since I'm dealing w/some health stuff. Will write a big missive when I get a chance, and cc it to you and Joe. Good to hear from you guys, take care,Jay

Jimmy.. thats 20 mph to 100 mph... yes.. unsanctioned .. yes.. out in fields and open lands on smooth road.. spectators.. yes.. several.. all honda folks. In 20 seconds that Tl would take to the air.. I know the 3800 II engine well.. was in my 1998 Z34 Monte Carlo... Ill have to add up therms.. our only use months appear to be Feb. and March bills which would reflect January's and February's use.. I see the 203, another 100 or so since and about 15 before.. since 12/15/14 our meter read 348700.. it now reads 378900 .. My math says 30200 difference.. I dont know if it's a misprint, but the tesla 85s 0-60 time with awd is listed at 4.4 sec.

well if that's the case... then you probably used about the same amount of methane we used... 31,ooo cu ft or so.. the difference is , your avg. temps are lower.. and you probably didn't have it cranked to 74* for the entire period.. I really really really like that Tesla.. but the other day I took the o3 Tl-S out past Atco, Dragway.. it was Honda weekend.. my car was all shiny and sweet... then past the drags in the woods.. I smoked a couple of 20-100's... aaahhh that refreshing whine of lethal acceleration.. the new tranny pulls hard.. I replaced a motor mount too... (must have broke loose from torque).. no more clunking, seraching, this thing drops first into 6500 redline to 2nd like nothing... by third the thing is at almost 100... I'm so busy holding on and guiding.. can't tell ya how long it takes.. but it isn't long.. I LOVE that car!! should only be driven by an adult!! (know any??) yup.. clouds again... we have that drill down pretty good... joe

silly me... that's aprox. 30,000 cu. ft of methane, my meter reads 4 numbers that change, plus two zeros... so only the tens of thousands are changing, not hundreds! doh!

okay... updates sir jimbo... we did get another 49... maybe that's it.. no matter how nice it gets, maybe we'll never get a 50... this time the back system pulled a 14 and the font pulled a 35.. last time the front pulled a 36 and the back pulled a 13... so maybe that's gonna be the rhythm of the cycle.. next update.. the methane bill for Feb came in .. $280.00.. which is a lot... but the heat was on 74* day and night for the entire period.. we used 203 therms... for 29 days to do that.. since then.. we only use half that 2/18 meter read.. I just checked it.. so that would be about 300K cu. ft. then for the entire winter?? Still seems like a lot.. what did you burn for the winter? even with your lower interior settings, you had a colder winter overall.. so I would think you had to best 3oo,ooo cu ft... now for a solar power shower... I have 1600, 3506, and 1059 going right now.. checked now looked @ it..6165?? that will run the water heater!! Joe

JIMMY.. SCREAMED a 49!! yesterday.... man I am YELLING today for a 50!!! we gotta make up for lost time.... and the heat pump ran good last night... 35*? and frost advisories... yup.. some changes we're getting... but it's all likely a coincidence.. got nothing to do with burning and burning... check it out.. mojo got his wings clipped... only the best are stuck in this pond.. for now... heheheheeh Hj

514 kWh still left to match last year's April on sys. 1 ... hmmmmmm.. let's see about the next few days.. see if we can't pull a 49 or 50 kWh for the day out of the hat... last 3 days>> W 5 TH 7 F 14... these clouds!! one good day could almost double the last 3 combined ! the 85S actually went up in price I think.. they buried it in some changes.. the dual battery pack is now a dealer installed item for $2K.. the wall plug in is only avail as an accessory now with a 1 yr guaranty .vs the 3 year given before...jim.. I will give the volt another try after the 2016 comes out. Ill drive the Malibu Hb too... but if that Tesla can be had I may trade off the civic and one of the gulp! acura Sc'ds... only way I could do it after I paid off the ILX.. likely a 3 yr lease with maybe $10K down...that should put the payments @ $750 or so... with the lack of gasoline buying... that would take my 'realized' payment into the mid $500's. about what I pay on the ILX HB to own... Joe

PS: gb pulling out all stops to remain relevant, so many confusing point schemes.. may be they should start listing per kWh electric prices now...
