Gas went up $0.50 there today? Amazing, I've never seen gas go up more than $0.05 in a single day here...... We're about 15 miles east of Washington DC.

The number of people I see fishing all over Florida and getting some great catches. The seafood at Safe Harbor is amazing.

by lisenclose  Sep 18, 2014

Yes It is!

by LanguageMan1  Sep 18, 2014

Actually, make that even lower than the $2.97 on the prices, not necessarily for the average, but the lowest prices posted. You're already there on it! Amazing! I'm guessing you'll eventually see $2.87 and lower soon enough.

by LanguageMan1  Sep 18, 2014

cents a gallon either way from that price, and most likely toward the lower side.

Oh, gas is still dropping here, and I still expect it to drop a bit more there, here and throughout most of the country before they start to pump up the prices again. I'm guessing right after the elections are done, probably within 10 days after, the prices will be rising unless they do it sooner than that. The latest will be by the 20th of November. That much I'm certain of. I was right this past time on the wholesale prices going up and here in Tampa Bay and some other locations, but it didn't rise the same in the rest of the country, which was good for those folks as they needed the break just like most of us are or are about to get temporarily. Like I told Mom728 and I will probably tell a few others, I'm almost certain the price of gas will go up by a good 17 to 35 cents a gallon at the pump at most locations off of what ever lows we do see between now and then. I'm hoping for and expecting $2.97 around here or lower, and about the same for you folks as well. You can say within 10

Yeah, the UN is certainly taking up some of our money to say the least, and what do we get in return, only a bit of peace, not much free trade any longer, and well, I don't want to even continue on it. But, it's there, and those that are in power here and throughout the world are in power for now even though I don't like it. I'm sure we will disagree on a few things, but you'll wake up and smell the coffee and see the light like most people I know have when I've told them various things. I don't know which portion of what I wrote you're speaking of, but I still don't like the fact that they find us to blame for so much.

by LanguageMan1  Sep 17, 2014

the most or to provide most of the cost to make any changes. Plain and simple, we're NOT to blame for everything and we're NOT even responsible for half of it all any longer.

You and others might not like my response or might be surprised, but I don't agree with the article OR the scientists either way 100%. For one, we could ALL do more with not only renewables, but also with the way they make vehicles so inefficient as well with with adding to what they're making use of only in regards to renewables. We don't bother to make use of tidal for instance to any great degree. We could also increase the use of hydro power and geo-thermal throughout the world and we do nothing to speak of so far with hydrogen for that matter along with others. Solar efficiencies could be brought up a bit more as well. As far as the warming, it's going on no matter what anyone wants to believe, and yes, parts of the country and the world are experiencing more cold than normal, but that's a natural occurrence as well. Plus, at the same time, global warming is partially unavoidable and it's not entirely man-made. On top of that, I don't like the fact that it falls upon the US to do

How do, did some rough computations. I think I'll be in line to receive a shiny new Motorcycle on or near my G.B. anniversary day. Whoo Hoo.
