Hows the weather in my area? Well we haven't seen the temperatures drop as low as those in Thunder Bay. -23 is lowest I can remember this winter. But since I live on a Peninsula, at the narrowest part of it, we get a lot of lake effect snow squalls. I drove into one last night on my way back from Owen Sound.. I couldn't see ANYTHING. I knew I had to keep going because I could barely see the headlights of a truck behind me and was afraid the driver might not see my tail lights. I turned on my hazard lights and kept going, constantly reminding myself that although I could not see the road, I knew it was straight and if I just kept driving straight, I'd be okay. Finally I saw the lights of the gas station nearest my home. Fortunately that is where I turn east and the road was visible the last 3 km to my house. Scary!
