Thanks for your comment, gvan. I am from Saskatchewan and we are an oil province. Like N Dakota we have a lot of jobs and economic activity around oil. BC is a non-oil producer and is frequently referred to as "the left coast" for their left wing political views. It is also home to the most vocal "environmentalists" in Canada. The Premier was against a proposed pipeline from Alberta to the Pacific coast to export to China. Then she asked for more $ to cross her province.

Re: "What polls are referred to? Tea Party polls?" Are you joking? Read some of the comments posted on this article and allow that to be your poll. If that doesn't satisfy, contact the author. I'm certain that he would oblige you. SA

Yet again, in 2013, the D3 gained market share on the J3. This year the D3 sold the equivalent of 1.62 more vehicles per 100 versus the J3 than in 2012. In doing so, the D3 almost reached a 60% share, attaining a 59.92% versus a 40.08% for the J3. The D3 reached its low in 2009, with a 56.83% share. That represented 13.66 more vehicles sold per hundred than the J3. In 2013 it represents 19.84 more vehicles, a 45.24% increase from 2009 through 2013. Now, I am going to have to change the dynamic next year, as Fiat has exercised it right to take majority ownership of Chrysler. I will probably compare the 2 remaining domestic car companies, Ford and GM, with Japan’s top two, Toyota and Honda. I may keep Nissan in the mix too, to see how much a majority GM and Ford can get over all three Japanese companies going forward. In 2013 it was GM/Ford 50.48% to J3 49.52% In the GM/Ford vs Toyota/Honda comparison, in 2013 share was 58.06% to 41.94% In 2009 it was 56.32% to 43.68% All in all,
