I give $50 but I won the wager and it felt great giving it all to a no kill shelter I could have used it too but they really need it more. Our Winnipeg Human Society kills hundreds of cats and dogs yearly because even though their building is brand new it is still too small to house all the poor dogs and cats. If they would not charge over $175 for a dog, a lot would not have to be put down!!! So I donate to several non-profit shelters in Winnipeg. When I get off the rig for good I will volunteer. All shelters need money, towels, laundry soap and lots of volunteers are all ways in demand. Our Church started three years ago take the Sunday school kids seven years and older twice a month to the no kill shelters to help. It is a win-win situation. The kids feel proud because they do see how important they are to help. If you belong to a Church this would be a good experience try it and see. Have a good night. Thanks for posting on my topics.
