Good to see you use facts to stand up for yourself! I can't prove it but the number of catalytic converter failures went way up after they mandated the ethanol in the gas!! My expertise in the issue decades in the industry ASE testing supported by the manufactures, "Master auto tech, passed all 8 basic areas and an advance that more than half fail the first time! After repairing a car a small engine is easy, anything rubber runs out as a liquid!

Driver169, You're just as high as the rest of em. Do you really think all these people know what the cause of the problem is. Every weekend I watch my neighbors run there blowers, trimmers etc at full throttle for an hour then at the end of the season I see none of them performing any sort of maintinance they just pile em up in the corner of the garage and expect it all to work fine next year. Small parts, lots of friction, high heat, low heat dissipation combined with plastic parts. It's called preventative maintinance and if you want more than 4-5 years of trouble free operation then you need to figure it out. It's to easy and lazy (typical american) to just say my "whatever" stopped working and then blame it on ethanol like these people are just because they saw this forum. My 21 year old car runs just fine on E10 so does my lawn tractor, trimmer and tiller...because i take care of it. Have a nice day and good luck blaming everything else for your problems.

A BIG CONGRATS on reaching that 3M milestone and your nice big red limo! : ) Wow! Truly magnificent Keep leading the way for others to follow here in GasBuddyland! Others ahead of you and behind you have retired, so there is lots of room at the 4M milestone, and it looks like the top GBs are going for that 5M milestone and beyond before they retire, and you know they have been here almost from the start 13 years ago! Thanks buddy for your 8+ years of dedication! Have a nice week! Ron

GREAT JOB!!!... CONGRATS Consecutive Days: 560+ Your GB...AL

by lgppa  Jun 10, 2014

Thanks for becoming my newest buddy! Yes, consecutive days are fleeting for many! But, more GBs than ever have more than 90 consecutive days, I believe that it is much easier now to report prices because so many more GBs are using smartphones and tablets, they don't have to depend on computers at home or at work! I tell many of my buddies, "clicking on news article links (I like first thing in the morning), which are the easiest points here on GasBuddy, when you can't or didn't post gas prices before midnight will save your consecutive days!" And, "Every day GBs lose their consecutive days, many with big numbers, the #1 reason, "oops, I just forgot!" :( If you ever lose your consecutive days; that is NO FAULT of your own, please contact the mods!" Have a nice week! Ron
