Nuclear energy’s environmental benefits are so vast that respected green organizations, such as the U.S. E.P.A., recommend nuclear as part of a portfolio of technologies needed to reduce carbon emissions in our country.

by drillintheUSA  Sep 29, 2014

NUKE benefits: In 2013, nuclear plants accounted for 63.3 % of America’s total clean energy — more than all other clean-energy sources combined. What these plants don't produce is vital to America’s environmental future. In 2013 nuclear plants prevented 589 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions, 1 million short tons of sulfur dioxide and a half-million short tons of nitrogen oxide from being released into the atmosphere and contributing to acid rain & urban smog.

D, If your area has gas lines.. did you know that you are not permitted to use LPG or CNG in Nj? A freind got into an arguement with Sj gas.. they disconnected him.. he attempted to get service from an lpg provider..they won't deliver.. then he attempted to get parts to retrofit his hot water tank to run off bottled lpg.. they would ship him parts.. he had to have the parts delivered to another address outside the gas co. service area.. he now runs his hot water off 20 gal barbeque tanks.. this IS a conspiracy , and they're all in on it! I'll update on the tesla.. I can't afford it either.. so let's see if I can get one anyway!! Joe

Thx. No. I knew not about the Rockies divesting in oil - interesting indeed! Wow. I bet that annual $108 "Service Fee" skyrockets! Or they create a new 'fee' to compensate for loss in revenue as more follow your lead. I'd wait on the Tesla though. Economy of scale will drive those retail prices down fast:)
