i goofed... the sets are actually only using 8.5 watts per 100 bulbs.. so 30 times 8.5 is 255 watts.. plus the 50 watts from the yellow minis.. 305 watts total!!

by Joeski1  Dec 19, 2014

Yo bud!! yeah I figured it out jus for you...I have 30 100 bulb LED sets claiming 14 watts per 100 bulbs.. 420 watts.. I could find no yellow bulb only LED sets.. so I also have 200 mini bulbs (@ 25 watts per 100 for an additional 50 watts).. Grand total 470 watts Now I suppose you wanna know how much I was using before? Ho! Ho! Ho!, best joe

The study examines environmental costs for cars' entire life cycle, including where power comes from and the environmental effects of building batteries. "Unfortunately, when a wire is connected to an electric vehicle at one end and a coal-fired power plant at the other end, the environmental consequences are worse than driving a normal gasoline-powered car." Something to consider folks.

This is a picture that your girls should never see. I witnessed one from 90-100 miles away when I was in the 5th grade. We got up early in the morning and saw the flash from north of Las Vegas. The whole sky lit up and about 20 minutes later the whole house shook. We lived in Barstow, CA. There are still 16,000+ of these damnable weapons in the hands of 9+ nations. HHD, Warren

Thank you for the compliments on the train pics. My grandfather worked on the CNJ, And as a kid I lived two blocks away from the main line. Plenty of fond memories touring the train yard and getting an up close look in the cab of one of those F7 locomotives. A twelve cylinder 1500 horsepower diesel engine is very awe-inspiring.

Thanks and I hope that You had a Great Thanksgiving

by ItisAJeepThing  Nov 28, 2014

I just learned something from your Thanksgiving post below. I lived near St. Augustine, FL. back when I was 7 to 9 years old. I knew that it was the oldest city, but had no Idea that they celebrated a day of thanksgiving. Thanks. Glad we have more than bean soup now. :)

Hi drillintheUSA, I was going to post this on Wed. "Hi, I hope that you have a very Happy Thanksgiving. May God bestow his blessings on you and yours for this whole Holiday Season. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Thanks for being my buddy, Warren" Then I noticed that we are no longer buddies. Do you have any idea what happened? I just sent you a fresh request.
