Thanks for your msg but having worked in the energy sector and others just as long as you, but obviously in a different function and level, corporate and UPPER management are terribly bloated in most large corporations in the US. Workers and middle-management are constantly being squeezed to their limits while wages are held down and prices raised, just for the stock prices to stay high. I've seen numerous companies actually go under because to their waste and greed and refusal to change for the better. Sounds like you may have retired from a similar firm. Good Luck (that your pension fund doesn't dry up, drained, or sold off).
