I think that you, too, may be misinformed. The pump itself may be covered in dust and grime. The nozzle may be exposed to petroleum fumes and liquids. So, too, might the fuel cap, the door to the fuel cap, the handle on the door to your vehicle, your money, credit card, wallet/purse... In other words, you worry too much.

Why would you wash your hands BEFORE you pump fuel? I'd think that function would be better performed AFTER pumping fuel.,

We both can.....the more the merrier.

There were several prices that Ruby39 posted that were incorrect, although the 3.55 for the diesel at the BP was the one I saw that was the farthest from reality.

DIESDOWN, thanks for posting on 'how id your garden doing?, welcome, feel free to join in; how about using a large size planter which can be bought for a couple of dollars and seed in your favourite veggie or plant strawberries?, they grow great in planters. Once you start, you'll get hooked for sure. All you need is a sunny spot, good dirt, water and seeds. Come again and let us know how goes it...
