We have the southmost ski area in North America and our mountain is only about 9,400 ft. It always gets cold enough up there, but moisture is the problem. They should run a pipeline up and install snow making machines. The county dumps about 50,000,000 gal. per day of Class A+ reclaimed water into a dry river. it is recharging the aquifer, but it could make snow, generate fun and $$$, then melt and trickle back down over waterfalls, through creeks and everybody would forget that they flushed it a year ago. Just an old water chemist here.
