A GasBuddy that posts maximum points each day will get to their next car level sooner than a GasBuddy that post only 5 gas prices each day! For example: A GasBuddy posting maximum points each day takes about 32 days less for each 100k points than a GasBuddy that this is only posting 5 gas prices each day! The difference is about 128 days sooner (a little over 4 months) from 100k to 500k points for those GasBuddies posting maximum points each day! Unfortunately, too many GasBuddies average way less than posting 5 gas prices each day! Maximum points in a day is 975, and one day with the weekly poll is 1,075! Posting regularly can help each of us see where the best gas deals are located, but we need updated prices each day! It's nice seeing GBs come back to post gas prices as often as they can, it's really a big help to the tens of thousands of GBs and others, especially those that travel! It takes a lot of dedication and persistence to climb the GasBuddy ladder to each level, but thousands of GBs do it each day! Many GBs get anywhere from 750 to 975 points each day! But, more than 90% of new GBs will not make it to their 1st red car (1M points), most of the 8,000,000 GBs quit before they even get close, but keep going, you can do it!
