At least the eagles are enjoying sun this afternoon. It was so sad to see the snow a couple of inches deep on the nest and the birds themselves frosted. I saw her turning the two eggs. I guessed that the bottom side gets cold. Looking forward to seeing chicks soon. Last year, we had an inch of short lived snow in mid. Feb. Today we hit 89° and I have started watering the back lawn, we have gravel, palm trees, Bougainvillea, Mexican Bird of Paradise and hedges in front. Valentines Day was great. About a week ago, Sandie noticed some Russian nesting dolls at the Olympics. She said she had always wanted a set since childhood. I immediately went online and bought two colorful sets. The was thrilled. She cooked one of my favorite meals, pot roast, in the Crock Pot. Have a wonderful Sunday. YSB, Warren P.S. That is my Grandson 'holding' the sun. If you ask him nicely, he will bring some to Long Island. LOL! Now he is in high school.
