"An almost too hard to imagine scenario; a bit of a reversal from last week." We have weeks and months where we go up, and then we have days, weeks or months where we go down. Well probably be down for another week or two then go back up.

Hello Zuegma. The range that ev's have is not for everyone, and I am sure tech. will change in time.I plug my Nissan Leaf into an ordinary 120v rec. it take overnight to charge that way but it works fine for me. If you drive regularly above the range limit, it is not practal. However once in a while can be done. Nissan provides me with this three year lease 10 free rental days. I will probably not need them, so when I vacation for a week I will visit the local Nissan dealer and take a rental for a week free.I see now Nissan is providing a public charging card for 2 years for free. (not bad). I figure that by me using a vehicle like this it will save 400 galons of gas that someone else can use. If more people did this there would be less demand for gasoline and hopefully the price would drop.

Hello Zueqma. In response to your questions on my Leaf. I love it! I only charge at home. I have no need to use any public charging.. My range on a cold day is about 76 miles and on a warm day that can go up to 100 miles. I do not need to go further than that anway. Whenever the car is at home I plug it in to a ordinary 120v outlet, and that can remain pluged in all night. It will be ready for another day. I have solar panels on the roof of my house, so the sun is my power source. Works great! Any more questions please email me at gogreenleaf1@aol.com

Happy birthday, may today be a great one and this year the best in your life.

by Outie  Feb 24, 2014

Yeah! I'm under the the 200 mark for consecutive days posting.

by Zuegma  Feb 20, 2014

Hey Outie: I love to see your systematic reports; you're more reliable than London's Big Ben! And, you provide the best picture of what's happening in N.B. where we get most of our gasoline (excluding the odd shipments from Sarnia & Montreal by tanker). I'm fairly new at GB but I know your price reporting is a "heads up" to what follows on our NS prices on Friday. Thanks!
