WGP, How can you post a gas price for the 76 gas station on 1st & Ray st. when the station is under construction, not open with NO prices posted? Be careful with you GB postings.

thanks...then just indicate in comments that you are posting Credit prices....and if you have time, indicate how much lower the Cash prices are in the same comments... thanks again

I read that from FAQ before, but I personally don't know anyone that strictly uses Cash prices. Everyone I know pays by credit now, especially since filling up a gas tank cost them over $40 - $100. I personally prefer credit prices over cash, as I will avoid a gas station that only takes cash. Whenever I post the credit prices at a station that has different prices for cash/credit, I always try and post a comment that I'm posting credit prices, or if I have time, I will post how much cheaper the cash prices are. Unfortunately, when I'm driving, I don't have time to type in a comment. If you prefer, I will post the Cash prices at that particular gas station in Walnut Creek, but I prefer to be informed on the Credit Prices. I hate carrying so much cash on me, especially since I have to fill up my gas tank every week.

Pls. post CASH prices at the Chevron Station in Walnut Creek at the corner of N. Main and Parkside Dr. When both cash and credit prices are available. Here is what the Gasbuddy policy is as stated in the FAQ 16 Q16: Do I post the cash price, or the credit price? A16: Differences in Cash/Credit prices are common in some areas as a result of stations needing to offset the additional costs of these transactions. GasBuddy's goal is to help everyone make wise fueling decisions. When reporting prices for stations in areas that have different prices based on method of payment, we ask that you post the cash price where it exists. If the station does not offer a cash price, the standard price should be reported. The Comments field may be used to include a note about cash/credit prices, but this is not required. THANKS!!!
