I hope for your sake your right about the high test gas not having ethanol in it. Ethanol is just plain garbage! If you want o test it all you need is a marked container! put in a measured amount of gas, add 20% of volume water, shake, let settle, measure the "water" in the bottom! Anything more than 20% is the amount of ethanol that was in it! Dispose of the test safely as it still may be flammable! A graduated cylinder for a chemistry lab works great if you can find one! Keep up the good posts

One of the things PD and the other analysts here are correct on is the risk factor of gas and oil moving higher this year. It stands a good chance of being higher at some point later in July to Semptember, possibly as early as June, or later in the year in November and December. If we're really lucky, we'll go down or sideways in price all the way until the middle of June. I doubt it though.

It's much like the lie that gas prices are cheaper today than under Bush; they're NOT. The average for 2008 under Bush was $3.23 a gallon, with it peaking for the one week that the media made certain to let EVERYONE know about being $4.09 a gallon. That was for one week and that's all people remember. Since 2011 under Obama it's been $3.45 a gallon on average and more, but it's never made the previous peak nationwide. It has exceeded the previous highs in California, Hawaii and other locations, just not everywhere. You're RIGHT on the the MANIPULATION factor though, and it's not just Big Oil.

by LanguageMan1  May 06, 2014

"We are harvesting more than ever before. The high price can only be a result of price manipulation by big oil." That article is a LIE! The prices for natural gas are far lower than they were in some previous years. The price of natural gas was far higher many years ago, even just as far back as 2007 to 2010 they were much higher. So to say they're too high is just BS. I keep watch on the prices all the time. It's not my job, but I try to use it to save money and help others do the same. I try to warn everyone, but can't get to everyone, before the prices go up for gas, oil, natural gas etc. You will most likely be down along with most of us until the 14th to the 25th and then it'll be going back up.
