It IS good that they're taking care of it early on though, something they should have done all through the years at all of them.

and themselves, and it works for the most part. I look at their numbers on their own sites, both national and state, and it's still not pretty when looking at it all. You have a great day and week ahead.

where you're coming from too though as I used to live in Chicago and remember a lot of jobs related to GM, Ford, Chrysler, American Motors, and corporate America especially Sears. It was good to have decent jobs and a decent life back then. Now we don't have that like then, and I sure don't being homeless and on food stamps. Looking for work, and I'll find something soon because I'm getting interviews again, but I don't have long to go with life and my work years. It's really bad here even though the unemployment rate [a lie and nothing but that from the federal and state governments both] is down here as well, supposedly at 6.3% or lower now, but I've counted 36 businesses that have closed with only two opening in the last eight months from August and September of 2013 until now. That's not growth by any means. Record numbers are working part-time, that's not growth either when fewer are working full-time. They just post the numbers they do to make people feel better about the country

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of GM as well as Ford and Chrysler or the American automotive sector, but when they're wrong, bad, etc., I'll say it; just like with the politicians. Not only did people lose jobs, people were completely wiped out that had retired from GM. From $50k to $5 million down to nothing some of them, other than their homes and some of them lost that as they couldn't pay the taxes. It's truly been a shame and catastroph which they won't even say everything that's happened or make it news. To see people in their 40's or 50's like me go down to nothing is bad enough, but to see them in their 60's to 90's and lose it all, I don't even like to think about it. I don't like that so many factories here in this country have been closed as those were good jobs which we don't have any longer. You guys just like us have a record number of people on food stamps and welfare, something which shouldn't be and is NOT good for an economy. But, it could be worse still. I know

"...taking care of the problem now, unlike Toyota did awhile back!" Toyota might have taken a year, but they didn't take a decade to take care of a problem like GM. But it's beginning to look like they're competing for total number of recalls here lately; though only 51 trucks, it's not that bad. Have a good weekend.

Thanks for becoming my newest buddy. During the winter, we get temperature inversions when the air near the ground is colder than higher up in the atmosphere. So the surface layer can't rise and move trapped pollutants like poisonous carbon monoxide up, out of our breathing zone. E-10 reduces the amount of poisonous carbon monoxide produced by all internal combustion gasoline engines. E-15 is not better and none of us should be forced to use that. Hope that you are having a great Earth Day. Do something good for your yard or for your community. Warren {:-)

HiThumbzilla, Congratulations on earning 700,000 points!! I wish we could get 100% gasoline out here. By state law we have to have E-10 in the winter and the dealers just never change back anymore. Want to become buddies?? Warren :)
