I will say that I've only even seen my spare one time, and that was about 6 months ago when I needed to take the panel off to access a burned out taillight. I aired it up then, but, since the car is 10 years old, it should be checked at least. It has never been used, never even mounted for that matter, just sitting there in the bin in the back of my car.
