Hope you're enjoying your long weekend. Cheers

You sound like a friend here who tried to sell me solar when we moved here eight years ago. Thanks for the offer but I'll pass.

by Mudsprings  Jul 05, 2014

First, thanks for being my newest friend. It's amazing that I can get one that cheap. I wonder what would happen if VW pulled out?

by Mudsprings  Jul 04, 2014

Let's just be friends. Thanks!

Why change your name? I thought Saab always made at least two models. I could never afford a Saab.

I assume you drive a Saab Turbo. I was just talking to my friend AFOS when I saw you there. All the guys below are my friends, too.

Saab needed a new muffler and clutch slave cylinder every couple years but the engine was solid, although by 204K miles it was running on 2 1/2 cylinders when I got rid of itl,

I remember paying $1.509 in Joliet at the low point. Even the Chicago site average dipped to a little over $1.65 at the low point. You must be buying in Chicago,

It's not just the OK and Yes and other one-two word posts that are frustrating and take away from the discussion - and like you, I've posted in much fewer discussions - it's the Just For Fun posts that fill the categories that should be for serious discussion. Posts by members such as GANDJI, multiple topics being started every day - EVERY day - that call for a one word response and for which he doesn't bother to come back to, most of which are lame (in my opinion) and often are the same as topics he's already started or are nearly the same as he's started the same day, are simply frustrating. And the moderators, for whatever reason, don't see it appropriate to tell him anything. To add to it, since he's been doing it, several others have started doing it, also repeating topics they've recently started. I just didn't thin you needed to bring yourself to their level.

Okay; you've made your point. You're now making it look silly, if not stuipid. Complain to the moderators, like I have about the several members who post what you're complaining about (and yes, I've reported he starts five new topics a day, often duplicates of what he's already posted, and that he never returns to any of his threads. I've suggested the moderators tell him he doesn't have to start topics to get points. Granted, the moderators haven't taken action (I believe they did once after I reported his abuse but not since, nor in a while). But you don't need to stoop to that level. Put your complaints in the Talk Back To Us discussion category.
