Fantastic... a new roof for a grand!!! But let me add a note: in my state (Georgia), it is against the law for an insurance company to raise your rates resulting from filing a claim of damages that were caused by "Acts of God". (hail, wind, flood, etc) Advise: Google and research your local /state laws.

I messaged the moderators that it was unfair to only get video points on phones, those points should be available on the full website. They replied that they are working on it. Who knows when?

Great to hear from you Buddy! That insurance claim shouldn't cause your rates to increase. It's illegal in most cases for an insurance company to raise rates because of a claim related to "Acts of God". It's also known that they are not allowed to raise your rates more than 10% at any time, because of or after making a claim. Besides, it would likely take several years of higher rates to equal what they just paid-out for your roof, so either way YOU are the winner. Thanks for writing... so good to hear you & the wife are happy. I'm not married - had the same girlfriend since 1999 but doubt we will ever marry. Again, Happy New Year to you & yours! Don't be a stranger...
