Looking at your local chart, I'd say you'll go down just a shade on the average first, then go up closer to that two week mark than closer to the two day mark. But, we'll see. You're gonna go up again though, no matter what, just like the rest of us have or are.

Oh, yeah, I hate to break the bad news to you. You're going to be going up again in price. How soon, that I'm not certain of but it could be just two days to as much as two week from now before you do, and you will. If you can buy extra gas in another few days, that's when I'd do it. We've already had our average go up higher than the 12 to 15 cents a gallon at a minimum that I had figured it was going to do. We're already up by an average of 18 cents a gallon or more. Considering that it could go up another 10 cents a gallon, one could have or will save as much as $28 or more over the next five to 12 weeks that extra gas would be good for. It can actually be good for up to six months or more at times, but I generally wouldn't push it past two or three months. Only a few I know buy an extra 20 to 100 or more gallons to keep on hand. Though they wind up saving more than everyone else and have more as well.

"And...???" Save WHAT you can and where. Buy extra of different things when the prices are lower and save more still for the future.

Unfortunately, the prices I'm posting in Lynn Lake are accurate. Nearest alternative fuel is 100kms away. Nearest "large" center is Thompson (330kms away). that leaves the local Esso retailer (with a higher overhead) and a cardlock retailer. Prices are coming down, but much slower than anywhere else. Of course, whenever there is an increase in the visible distance, the pump prices always seem to rise higher and faster here...
