I would think that the credit price would be what 90% of people pay. I never pay cash because I fill up every time and usually buy at least a tank of gas a day. I want to get in and out of the place and get my work over with. I don't know, I think it is a policy that should be changed back to posting credit prices.

Hi Motty, I just read this FAQ on posting cash prices about a week ago and was also surprised. I also think it is poor policy since most people like to slide the plastic at the pump. I still report credit/debit prices but have a note in the comments that it is. I believe that is also in the FAQ and is allowed. Have a good day, Buddy.

Motty, I report the cash price because we are instructed to do so. See here: http://www.baltimoregasprices.com/faq.aspx#16

Just got the 10,000 points required to respond to your comment last week. I try to find the highest price to post, but sometimes it's tricky to see.

The credit / debit price for the Exxon @ Northern & Reisterstown is on a small sign on the ground below the main sign on the corner. Use your credit / debit card at the pump and you will see the price difference also.

Motty, even I'm for ethanol from non-food sources; plus, we get more of it for what's put into it at a lower price and subsidies aren't necessary. I agree, I'd rather see jobs here at home, and the money to stay here at home to create those necessary jobs, but not with corn and not with ethanol alone. Hydrogen is viable, natural gas is viable, so are other alternatives and we should be moving forward with this all. Hell, this shouldn't even be a discussion still today since we had 30 years to move forward with the alternatives. Plus, we should be getting vehicles straight from the factory that get better fuel economy already, after all this time, and we're not. I can modify vehicles to get 10, 20, 30% and more mileage out of them. I and others can get vehicles out there that get 70, 120 and more mpg, but not the automakers obviously. It's not that difficult.
