Wait a second....that's a different Cougar! That looks like a 68. My very 1st car was a 67 Cougar. Loved it! That one looks sharp!

Oh, yeah, I'm familiar with that VW that get 300 mpg. To be honest with you, we had vehicles years ago that got better mileage than the best ones do today. The Europeans have had vehicles that get better mileage than ours for the last decade plus. Our leaders won't allow them here. We could be building them and others that get up to 500 mpg and even more, but they don't want that to happen. It's all MANIPULATED like the price and supply of oil and gas along with other things inclusive of wars and what's happening in Iraq today. Obama, Bush, Cheney, Clinton, Congress, and others, they're all to blame on that. The Ukraine isn't much different. Plus, you have to remember, all those I mentioned, inclusive of Big Oil, the big Banks, OPEC, eco-Nazis, the ultra-wealthy and many others, they want $5 to $14 a gallon gas.

Yeah. The dark ages.

V W gets 300 miles per gal. But they won't let it into the US. My guest is they want to keep GM and Ford selling!!!

Sure, I'll be a bud. Like those cars.

Plain and simple, we could have had vehicles back in the 1960's and 1970's and on through today that were getting 60 to 100 mpg, but they killed that. There are a few in this country today that get 70 to 120+ mpg, but no many know about it and mostly they're hybrids or plug-in hybrids. We could have some that already get 250+ mpg, but they won't allow it and would kill it if and where possible.
