Hey Tom! Thanks for the message! I saw your message on the thread but, for some reason, I wasn't sure what it was/is you were wanting. Hope all is well with you and the Mrs.! O-H!

I think it's wonderful what your doing for prisoners. A little kindness is like a seed that can sprout into a giant tree and what you give comes back. I think America has not been respected for a long time, only feared or despised. I think countries are their people trying to live their lives and not their politicians who are elites. If you get into riding again a recumbent bike might be easier. I met a Canadian touring with one up in WA and I might try one some day because I live in a very windy area. Best wishes on your recovery. Bless You and yours, Marc

Hi Marantha: I rode a lot on a ten speed also and wished I had kept that bike. I just missed Vietnam; graduating HS in 73, thanks for your service. I ride locally mostly about 200 miles a week and carry my camera. My last big tour was in 2012. I took a train to Seattle then rode to the Canadian border at Blaine, WA then around Olympia and down the coast to San Diego. I'm scared of going to Mexico and didn't have a passport for Canada. I carried about 100 pounds bike and gear and camped. I want to go on another ride soon and have been dreaming of riding around the US but I have to prepare so I am thinking of doing some desert riding now that is cooling down. I want to see Death Valley and the Grand Canyon. I have been refining my gear and I'm weighing everything and making choices of what to take. I am thinking about a bike trailer but it adds a lot of weight. Do you ride anymore? I have some more pictures in my albums I like the outdoors like you.

Take a look at Mudsprings' album called Gas Buddies. There is a picture of SquawBear and me and other people you will recognize.

Just to let you know, your gas prices as well as others will and should be moving down a bit more, but we'll be going back up once again, sometime within the next three to seven weeks or so. I can see that it's bottoming. I could have already made a bundle going up and going down. Save the money when and where you can. Pass it on.

Why, congratulations on your many fine years of married life & I wish you many more healthy years to come :-) I'm also glad to hear your son's enjoying teaching Jr. High math; it's tough work, but the rewards last a lifetime for BOTH the students & the teacher!

I noticed we have a few mutual friends... Care to be buddies? Have a blessed day in Jesus...

Thank you brother, it actually says Soldier of God the rest are just lines. I had to go to my facebook page to see it myself. Your right all too many people treat God like a dog, how sad. But we have the opportunity to change that by praying for those whose lives we touch. Letting the love of Christ shine through us. What an awesome God we serve! I am a firm believer that we should not tear others down especially brothers and sisters in Christ but rather we are to lift each other up. I pray that I do that with everyone whose life I touch, not that I would recieve anything but that God would be glorified. God bless you brother.

Thank you for your message Tom, I believe God brought all of us nuts together to share, encourage, sharpen and lift up. I really wish I could respond in PM but such is life. But I want you to know you brother are a blessing to me.

I just looked at Consecutive Days Leaderboard a couple minutes ago and it shows you as #199 with 2,583 days - up one place since yesterday! I'm hoping that this time you really made it, even if maybe only to be bounced back to #200 in a day or two. I hope it is not a glitch at work again.
