I can certainly relate to the short shift situation. I have a well built World Class T-5 but is still just a T-5. The only regrets was when I built it, I didn't change out the first gear to a higher ratio. At that time I was running taller rear gears. Now I have 4.10's and the tranny still has the 3.35 first. I am shifting to 2nd before I even get to 60ft. I can still dream about a new TKO-600 but for that conversion costs I could have and all Eagle internal balanced rotating assembly for my project 408ci stroker motor. If you ever bring your ride to Florida, let me know. Some great people with fast cars down here (no state inspection) and nice tracks as well. Take care for now. Very impressive numbers. Glad to see you still have the car. I ran a 11.5 @ 119 mph with my 306ci, with a 100 shot of NOS. I can't wait to get my 408 Stroker together, but it is going to be awhile. Too much $$$$$.
