The trouble with one topic is that people CAN'T scroll back through it if it exceeds four pages; everything older disappears. unless there is some workaround to avoid that. As it stands now, the replies from the 17th to the 20th are gone, gone, gone.

:-) well done!

Kudos to you for the polite way you responded to Ban_e10_gas re "Decepticon."

by CampKohler  Aug 09, 2014

OK, I see where I was off; I was envisioning something on the Search Gas Prices section of the Search Gas Prices page, not the price lists sections. I realize now that the reappearance of the Map button reveals how to construct a URL for centering on any station. Thanks for your patience.

by CampKohler  Aug 08, 2014

I must be particularly dense today, because I don't see where you have said it is fixed and how it works. The Aug 6 post says "... functionality is broken...." And I don't see any "map links" on the Search Gas Prices page. (I suppose I will need, "27 8×10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows....") How about going back to your feedback topic and putting in a blurb demonstrating how it does work for those of us with mapheimerz.

Too bad we can't link to a particular post as one can in some forums. Sometimes the topics are huge. I looked through the entire topic, but didn't find the parameters that were to be used to center the map (I am sure they are in another topic somewhere). One says it has been fixed and another says it hasn't. I would like to verify it myself before marking it done. Have you done that by any chance?

by CampKohler  Aug 08, 2014

Without plowing back through everything, do you know the post that talks about using the URL to center the current map? I would like to read it.

Duh...;-)

(continuted from below) with the HTML entity codes for them. Thus the angle brackets appear to be there, but they are not. This is how they prevent HTML from working in the forum. Are you sure your replacement test worked as you stated? If so, I will want to work with you to find out exactly how that happens, because I can't duplicate it as you can see from my tests in JFF.

So what did you type exactly in that link that made it come out like that? You should be able to put it on my WB as it won't react. Thanks.
