GB Member Serrog got what he thinks was the first one in Canada. I think he got the GMC Canyon. He is in Nova Scotia. U.S. sales of the Colorado was 36 in September, 1,491 in October, and 2,386 in November. In Tallahassee, both the Chevy and GMC dealers have had just one delivery of each so far. My chevy sales guy says another one is arriving on the 15th. Fro all I have read these trucks are industry leaders in mileage and capacities--and they both look great. Let me know if you get one!! Take care.

The Colorado has actually been out for a couple of months now, with pre production models out for much longer.

more than ever.... any GM guy can certainly appreciate the Cadillac ELR... no two ways about it... it is a space ship from the future.. caddy did it right but the price is a killjoy... gotta lease it.. new tech has got to prove itself.. best way for the consumer is to lease... safest bet.. no one buys a an $80,000 vehicle today do they? joe

G, when i make the move to some type of an EV.. I will definitely lease if possible... whether it be a plug in hybrid or a straight up Ev like a volt or ELR.... I wanna plug in here and charge it off my own homegrown solar pv.. best joe

G, if that's so.. you made out by leasing... otherwise they'd have taken that off the price of your trade in value... when renting or leasing, no matter the what.. one does NOT take ownership... the owner is the lessor.. the leasee MUST retrun the vehicle with nothing more than normal wear and tear.. there is insurance available for those that are "vehicle wreckers"... hitting curbs, banging into their own garage.. I got it on a RV I rented for a month.. yup.. I backed into a high tree limb that popped a considerable sized hole in the roof of that RV. my cost $50.. and that i$100 nsurance policy.. bet that hole cost more $1500 to fix... best joe

No issues at lease end if going for same car line or at multi line dealerships with normal wear and tear.. dents, dings, rips,or other physical damage is NOT wear and tear. .gotta be fixed like a broken lense or windshield.. it doesn't help to be shy on thee communication on lease end.. biggest issue is excess mileage

by Joeski1  Aug 25, 2014

yes... new cars cost a bundle.. even a new impala goes for $32K loaded .. but it only gets a measly 26 mpg.. if you coast alot... I won't be buying another vehicle either..once ya hit 55.. leasing is the way to go... pay each month.. ride a new car every 3 or 4 years.. and dump the problems that will invariably affect every vehicle over 50,000 miles or so.... my buddy has been doing it for years... no headaches or hassles... just tune the monthly to what one can afford... and with little/no gas being used.. well.. one could put 100% of that into the lease payment..... just mentioned the chevy cause you seem to be a fan.. I was too.. until I discovered American Honda.. best joe
