Thanks for being buddies. Yea it sounds like your getting the shaft more. The prices around here are going up too. Have a great week.

I think it would be nice to have some buddies from over the border. To be able to compare gas prices to see who is getting screwed more. LOL. I will understand if you don't want to be buddies. Thanks and have a nice day.

Would you like to be buddies?

by NotTom  May 15, 2013

With the larger Passat I get 32 City 40 Highway.

So in one of the news links about rising gas prices you said that you use Diesel in your car. I purchased a 2005 Passat TDI brand new and love it. The only thing I would change is putting in a six speed rather than the automatic 5 speed.

by NotTom  May 14, 2013

what TDI did you buy?

Thanks for becoming my newest buddy. Hope that you have a great weekend. Your new buddy, Warren :o)

Hi, I am a buddy of "CaptSquid" and noticed your conversation about frost at his site today. I was congratulating him on having posted for 2,200 consecutive days. We have to leave a window cracked here in the summertime, the high temperatures cause high pressure that has been known to blow windows out. Want to become buddies??? Warren :-)

by CaptSquid  Dec 31, 2012

Exactly! The temps and the humidity quickly equalize and -- voila! -- no inside frost.

by CaptSquid  Dec 29, 2012

Stopping frost on the INSIDE of the windows is easy and simple -- leave a window cracked open just a bit.
