Vikes - reminds me of 1 nite I went out and had a drink or 3 with Fran Tarkenton in Mankato in 74 or 75. It was a kind of ok experience - except that he was a conceited jerk. He had a gal by the name of April Thompson all google eyed. I guess I still went to the Vike's games and cheered for him and the team.

Up, you lazy heads...

Oatmeal on....do any of you like steel cut oatmeal? Get the maple syrup and some skim milk.....yum. Then really ramp it up with a little crumpled, crisp, bacon. Now, we are talking. One of the worst things invented was Quick Oatmeal...

Should get warm today..

Stop it!...Vikings, right at the end, lose by one pt. pppffffhhhttt.

Having a beautiful Sonday.
60 ° out.

Had home made buttermilk pancakes this morning, with fat slab bacon, and real maple syrup. Yum

Last night was the killer though....first pizza then the ice cream bar with the bottomless pit youngins....I will have to run 200 miles today. Then call an ambulance.

Company is deadly.

ok...but, don't whistle, or smile, or laugh too much at work or they will think you are putting too much poppy seeds on your peanut butter and toast. I am now heading over to jd's for the tasty brkft.

Be eaten carrots, daylily. Eyes will be great, nose will be a beautiful shade of orange.
You can always tell when little babies are eating a lot of carrots.

Another question....could no one find the best Infectious Disease MD in the country? Jeepers.

ok enuff of the healthy stuff, come on over for some fried eggs, thick hickory smoked bacon, hash browns with green peppers (for healthy veggies) and sprinkle some grated cheese on it all, then also some sausages - and for your drink - some hausgemachte bier and piestengle.

i'm making it on the grill outside on the patio. for you health nuts, there are some red raspberries in the garden that need picking.

come on over.

Maryanne, I sprinkle ground flaxseed on stuff. Good on peanut butter toast, or sprinkle it over popcorn, for extra fiber and omega-3s.

How about a little timely humor? Does anyone go to the people's cube?

Take a whole-grain or bran toaster waffle and boost the protein and fiber by spreading it with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter (I like the chunky style). Then sprinkle on 1 tablespoon of raisins, sesame seeds, or walnuts for even more fiber, which helps deliver the meal's nutrients slowly and steadily throughout the day. Sometimes I also slice a banana and top it on there too. Drink some cider or hot chocolate. Also try adding a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a drink, it will help you in many ways. (And yes, sometimes even a dill pickle).

Have a smiley day, whistle while you work - OK don't do that, it might make your co-workers mad, lol.

toodles

The best thing about the M1911A1 is that a simple slide and barrel change will give you more calibers to play with: 40S&W, 38Super, 9mm, .22LR, and, best of all, it's single action, and you can safely carry it 'Cocked and Locked' due to it's dual safety disconnect system!

Yes. Designed by the man who created the mighty Ma Deuce, John Moses Browning, the M1911 is the king of all semi-auto pistols, fast reloading, instinctive aiming, excellent reliability, easily concealable, easy to field-strip and clean, designed to be idiot-proof and if you run out of bullets, at over 2 1/2 pounds, the darn thing is heavy enough to beat someone to death with it!

SE3.5 - if I still had a handgun for sure I would want the old tried and true 45 ACP that I used to shoot on the target range. Always worked and was way more than accurate enough for my needs. Besides if I'm going to want it to actually do something I want it to do it. I used to keep it loaded with hot 185gr HP +P's. A 9mm just dont pack the punch my friend.
.
.
Breakfast - a tiny bowl of Wheat Bran mini shredded wheat thingies. Man that is a long way from Ham and eggs and a bunch of fried spuds. But then I am a long way away from working hard enough to 'work off' a nice breakfast too.

Total work today is about 15 minutes of mowing the lawn and cleaning up afterward.... then inside before it gets warm - its gonna be in the mid 80's again with bright sun - you eastern folks eat your heart out.

chocolate and a burrito? well, at least you didn't offer if i remember what you had one other time - toast with peanut butter, banana and dill pickles. does it go good with beer, lol?

i'll stick with bacon and eggs, lol.

btw, what's in your burrito?

and it's up to 38 here this morning.

-

ps: dill pickles? is that a hint of something?
