Don't let the Statue of Liberty hit you in the rear end on the way out!

Primping Piers Morgan [he of liberal bent, but I am sure that is not related. ROTFL] says that he is LEAVING!

Now if he would just say that he is leaving AMERICA!

Then you and I could say that there is truly a GOOD and a JUST God!

ROTFL

America is fed up of me: Morgan to quit CNN job

"Three years after he launched himself on an unsuspecting American public as a prime-time interrogator of politicians and celebrities, Piers Morgan has admitted defeat in the nightly ratings battle and plans to step down from his CNN show."

" Topic: GOODBYE, Piers Morgan!!"

.....

Wouldn't have a clue who he was prior to reading this post as he's been a "non-existent" until this moment.

Pretty much sounds like some snotty, uppity Brit character I wouldn't have wanted to hear or know anyway.

QUOTE ::::: the only place I had seen him was some reality contest show; I forget which one.....

He was a judge on "Brittain's Got Talent" . He was on the night Susan Boyle appeared.

That was my first time ever seeing Mr. Morgan.

I also am glad that Piers Moron is going back to the United Kingdom. I think they deserve him. Lord knows America sure doesn't.

Since some of our libs seem to think that CNN is doing great and that CNN loves Piers Morgan and will keep him around, here is just a side tidbit of information.

February Cable News Numbers: CNN Tumbles As Fox News Channel Logs 146th Consecutive Win; MSNBC Hangs On

"February cable ratings are in – Piers Morgan may be out at CNN, but what about the rest of the network’s primetime, which looked none too good for the month, all losing around half their audience compared to same month last year?

Meanwhile, Fox News Channel has now reached 146 consecutive months at No. 1 in total viewers, in both total day and primetime, among cable news networks, and is for February the only cable network up in both total viewers and the demo compared to last February. In all of cable, Fox News ranked third in primetime (8-11 PM) – behind USA Network and History – and fifth for total day. Meanwhile, neither CNN or MSNBC were able to crack the top 20 in either daypart. CNN ranked 39th in prime and 34th in today day; MSNBC 26th in prime and 27th in total day. Every hour of the day, Fox News dominated CNN and MSNBC combined in total viewers. It also beat both networks in the news demo."

CNN, the first cable news network, is going the way of MSNBC.

It just shows how destructive liberalism is.

Maybe they should try being "Fair and Balanced"!

;-)

Do you realize how long "146 consecutive months" is?!

That is over 12 years - over TWELVE YEARS - without a break that Fox News has been trouncing them.

"But I think even that is coming soon."

Oh well, that settles it, doesn't it, you thinking it makes it true!
ROTFL

"Oh the desperation when you are proven wrong."

You have proven nothing except your own desperation to keep this thread centered on you and your put-downs of others.
Pathetic, and oh so predictable.

I repeat, the fact that Piers Morgan is not leaving CNN at this point in time puts the lie to your heading, no matter what you say, or what you wish for.
Maybe it will be true some day, let's face it, everybody leaves somewhere sometime. But for today, it is patently untrue. Do they not teach English comprehension and plain speech any more?

What was said on CNN last night, HH?

HappyHerman, "You have it right rumble. Piers has a great relationship with CNN and they will find him another spot on their network."

What do you define as a "great relationship with CNN"?

I would HATE to see a bad relationship.

rumbleseat, "Which puts the total lie to the thread heading "GOODBYE, Piers Morgan!!"."

ROTFL

Oh the desperation when you are proven wrong.

Piers Morgan is leaving the show. Not CNN. Yet. But I think even that is coming soon.

And better yet will be when he leaves the US and goes back to Britain. But even they have said they don't want him back.

So, rumbleseat, when Piers leaves his show, everyone will say "GOODBYE, Piers Morgan!!"

Adieu!

Sayonora!

Dos Vidanya!

Adios!

"GOODBYE, Piers Morgan!!"

rumbleseat, "So what are some of you going to say if it is only goodbye to his show, if Piers is still around CNN?"

???????

Most of us who have kept up with the story know that he was only fired from his show, not CNN.

Although how CNN can keep him in any capacity is beyond me.

But then almost anything liberals do is beyond rational thought.

So I am not sure what your point is, rumbleseat.

Piers Morgan CNN show to end its run

According to the story I read above, he didn't leave voluntarily as much as his show was cancelled.

Conservatives were probably turned off by his partisan railing against gun laws.

Liberals weren't impressed either; they switched over to MSNBC.

I'm sure their cancellation of Piers's show has nothing to do with the continuing inquiry into the phone hacking scandal in England.

"Completely unrelated, I'm sure."

After CNN Cancels Morgan, Larry King Says: I Could Come Back

"Larry King and former CNN President Jonathan Klein speak exclusively to The Daily Beast about the cancellation of Piers Morgan’s prime-time show.
Several months ago, backstage at a concert in Central Park, Larry King ran into CNN's former U.S. president Jonathan Klein, the executive who ended King’s 25-year prime-time reign to enthrone a pugnacious Brit who’d starred in a couple of reality shows.

“So you’re the guy who hired Piers Morgan, huh?” the then-80-year-old King teased the erstwhile cable news executive.

“He had no comment,” King told The Daily Beast on Sunday night, as news broke of his 48-year-old successor’s cancellation after three rocky years hosting Piers Morgan Live.

The bleak announcement—via Morgan’s exclusive interview with The New York Times’s media columnist, David Carr, an obvious attempt to cast an unhappy career move in a less-than-humiliating light"

Amen...you wonder how desperate CNN was putting him on. Of course the news is no longer the news from anyone any more so what difference does it make. If Piers Morgan is on and nobody is watching is he really making noise? :-)

Alec Baldwin also claims that he is going to disappear and leave us alone and leave us in peace.

However, he is a liberal, so I will believe it when I see it since they lie all the time.

But PLEASE, Alec, LEAVE!

Alec Baldwin: Good-bye, Public Life

" I find myself bitter, defensive, and more misanthropic than I care to admit. And I’m trying to understand what happened, how an altercation on the street, in which I was accused—wrongly—of using a gay slur, could have cascaded like this. There’s been a shift in my life. And it’s caused me to step back and say, This is happening for a reason."

This whole incident is also exposing another very nasty side of liberalism!

I can say I never once watched his show. I rarely watch CNN anyways and I am almost never up past 9 PM to watch anything.

I did see clips of him here and there and he did seem like a unlikeable personality which is probably what is leading to his departure.

So depressing. This country really needs an arrogant, elitist, condescending Brit to explain why their ideas are all great and us silly, weak colonials just don't get it. . .

Maybe we should write him a letter about how we feel. Let's open with "When in the course of human events,...."

Jefferson did a great job writing a very polite "bugger off" letter to King George.

Good for you, Piers.

Now let your departure be an example to others. I know of one particular individual whose ratings are in the dumper and who Americans are fed up with! Sure hope the news gets to 1600 Pennsylvania!
