"According to a study done by Jeffery J. Mondak, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are:

Not likely to discriminate on the basis of race or sexual orientation.

More likely to be pro-choice rather than pro-life.

Likely to feel trapped by the status quo.

Likely to enjoy complex and abstract discussions.

Likely to be more knowledgeable on academic topics.

More likely to have a tolerant attitude towards smoking.

More likely to favor mild criminal punishments over harsher ones.

More likely to watch TV, read the news, and stay up to date on current events.

More likely to mobilize your friends to take part in your own interests.

Someone who seems opinionated to others, while being in fact quite open-minded and tolerant of opposing views.

According to this, Barack Obama and I are one and the same.... And I thought it would be my cousin, Ben.

Go ahead, say something....I hear you....

I have been VERY skeptical of the reality or honesty of this test, since so many were coming up with them being like Obama .... including ME, three times!

I am so far away from Obama it is laughable.

Then I read sgm saying that she "answering in the way a person I would find truly obnoxious would answer" and that it came up with GWB!

That sort of confirmed in my mind this is one big Obama hoax.

BUT ....

but then I took the test again and answered every question in the most extreme and silly way possible!

Do you know who I came up with being most like when I answered in the EXTREME on every question?!

President BILL CLINTON!!!

So maybe there IS some truth to it!

ROTFL

Here is their summary of what made me like Bill Clinton...

"Compared to the general population, you are:

Average on Openness, indicating that you prefer to strike a balance between seeking out novelty and preserving the status quo.
Low on Conscientiousness, indicating that you are flexible with regards to goals and deadlines and that you improvise and constantly update the course as you pursue your goals.
Above average on Extroversion, indicating that you are an open and talkative extrovert.
Low on Agreeableness, indicating that you are often seen as critical, tough and domineering in social situations.
Extremely high on Neuroticism, indicating that you are quick to respond to changes in your environment and that you react strongly to both good and bad news.

According to a study done by Jeffery J. Mondak, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are:

Less likely to favor military intervention as a means of solving foreign policy problems.
More likely to think that international cooperation will solve foreign policy problems.
Less likely to take an active interest in your community, preferring instead to go your own way.
More likely to be cosmopolitan in tastes and less likely to be patriotic and proud of your country.
Less likely to enjoy romantic fiction than the rest of the population.
More likely to frequently change jobs and partners.
More likely to end up in jail or to get in trouble with the law.
More likely to generally disagree with your immediate friends and family.
More likely to stand your ground and push back against people who are hostile to you, or with whom you are in disagreement.
More likely to support the use of capital punishment.
Less likely to take a favorable view of government welfare programs.
Less likely to enjoy fitness training and physical exercise.
Less likely to believe in any kind of dogma that you regard as settled in stone.
More likely to flirt with harm and danger.
More likely to have insurance or to belong to a labor union."

Did you notice a couple hidden in the middle of all that?

"More likely to frequently change jobs and PARTNERS."
"More likely to end up in jail or to get in trouble with the law."
"More likely to flirt with harm and danger."

HAHahahahaha

According to a study done by Jeffery J. Mondak, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you [as GWB] are:

Likely to be skeptical of minorities and sexual deviants.
More likely to be pro-life rather than pro-choice.
Likely to feel that any sensible person must start with the status quo.
Likely to regard philosophical discussions a waste of time.
Likely to pursue interests in the real world, rather than bury yourself in book knowledge.
More likely to have a tolerant attitude towards smoking.
More likely to favor mild criminal punishments over harsher ones.
More likely to watch TV, read the news, and stay up to date on current events.
More likely to mobilize your friends to take part in your own interests.

George Washington...the graph lines virtually overlay so their barely noticeable except for the chart line category of "O" whatever the heck that is.
Olé George's graph line peaked at 97 in that category and mine peaked somewhere over the top of the chart as the top line is 100.

Enough of goofing around burning daylight...Off to lunch in Florence with friends...

I just did the test, answering in the way a person I would find truly obnoxious would answer--not liking art or philosophy, not liking deep thought or reading, always wanting my own way, always sure I'm right, etc.

The answer? George W. Bush.

ROTFL.

It would seem this quiz only allows for 5-6 answers.

Obama, Madison, Jefferson, and Eisenhower.

Where are the Lincoln's, Roosevelt's, Fillmore's, Buchanan's???

I finally was able to take the quiz. It wouldn't work on my office computer.

I ended up with James Madison but was way off on the chart.

It did get a few things right. It said I would be less likely to change jobs or partners. I have been at my current job for 17 years and with my first and only wife for 6.
It said I was less likely to end up in jail and I have never been arrested and only gotten one traffic ticket.

It also said I like to balance between sticking to a plan and remaining flexible. In my last performance review my boss commented that I was excellent at adapting on the fly.

It also said I was socially adaptable. Years ago a female friend asked me to take her to a local independent film fund raiser. I was the only person she could think of who would be able to fit in because I can go from biker to suits to western in one day. By the end of the event I was sitting with a couple of big wigs in the local film community and she was sitting by herself. She was trying to make contacts and I was the one who was offered a part in a film. I turned it down because I work full time and don't see much need for a balding middle age white guy.

It also missed a few things. It said I would most likely be opposed to capital punishment. If any of you have checked out the "the death penalty works" thread you know who I feel.
It also said I would favor government welfare programs. That's a little tricky. I'm all for helping those who truly need help through no fault of their own. BUT the system is full of the lazy and people who are taking advantage of it. Those people need to get to work or fend for themselves.

Over all not a bad test.

AFSNCO, the day that I am most like Barack Obama will be the day!

I think SOMETHING HAS FROZEN OVER!

It must be due to Global Cooling and the record cold winter!

What is the best part is when I read down to some of the other stuff.

"According to a study done by Jayme Neiman, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are:

Amazingly, your personality is simply too smooth and well-rounded for Dr. Neiman's study to be able to say anything about you."

ROTFLOL

So take THAT you liberals that are always attacking me!

ROTFL

I am "simply too smooth and well-rounded"!!

ROTFL

BINGO

OK, there is something VERY strange about this!

Mine ALSO came out as being the most like Barack Obama!

Yeah RIGHT!!

Excuse me for being skeptical, but this smacks of being an Obama dirty tricks scheme from his social media squad.

To make us all think that Obama is a really good guy since we are ALL like him.

ROTFL

Strange.

"I have to admit, I got Barack Obama. Weird."

Why is that weird?
I got Thomas Jefferson.
Which is fine with me.
But the crap at the bottom, the study done by Jeffery J. Mondak, Ph.D.,, some of those couldn't
t be more wrong.

Pleasantly surprised with James Madison. Of the 25 Presidents listed, I would have guessed Calvin Coolidge.

...Had originally planned some outdoor fun for today, but I am grateful that my li'l Squirt is recovering from having been sick late last night & early this morning & is relaxing eating some soup & watching a movie. So in the interim, I got curious & decided to take the test too.

Although my graph didn't track closely to his either, here were my test results:

"Big Five Personality Test
Out of 25 U.S. Presidents, you are the most like ...
James Madison."

"Compared to the general population, you are:

Average on Extroversion, indicating that you are somewhere in between a pure extrovert and a pure introvert - an 'ambivert.'
Average on Openness, indicating that you prefer to strike a balance between seeking out novelty and preserving the status quo.
Above average on Agreeableness, indicating that you alternate between being tenderhearted in some situations and tough-minded in others.
Average on Conscientiousness, indicating that you take a balanced approach between sticking to plans and deadlines and being flexible about updating your current goals.
Average on Neuroticism, indicating that you respond adequately to changes in your environment and feel some measure of stress under pressure without letting it get to you."

"According to a study done by Jeffery J. Mondak, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are:
Amazingly, your personality is simply too smooth and well-rounded for Dr. Mondak's study to be able to say anything about you."

"According to a study done by Jayme Neiman, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are:

Took the quiz. I got Thomas Jefferson. I'd be the last person to say I am a renaissance man but I'm glad it wasn't Millard Filmore.

Mine, too, came up with Barack Obama, although my graph didn't seem to track with his all that much.

What I found more interesting was when I scrolled down, it said that:
"According to a study done by Jayme Neiman, Ph.D., your scores indicate that you are:

Amazingly, your personality is simply too smooth and well-rounded for Dr. Neiman's study to be able to say anything about you."

So, Dr. Neiman's study can't say anything about me? I wonder - is that good or bad?
