It must have been to much news for the media to handle. looks like the social media is way ahead of the pack. v.s. lame filtered news.

They chose 9/11 because they wanted to counter the "Million Muslim March" that had been scheduled for the day. They wanted to have 2 million bikers show up, but I think they fell short. Definitely not as short as the "Million Muslim March" event, though. That looked like it ended up being around 25 people.

I would like to hear more about this. Will they do a rally in the city when 9/11 falls on a weekend day?

Idhelm

I was not referring to the PGR group, or any specific group only called them patriots because of the reason they were riding.

"This is how democrats loose elections"

By marching for unity?

"A peaceful group of patriots want to assemble, no permit, while others get permitted."

What makes them patriots? Was it that they rode en masse? Was it that they assembled? Was it that they sought no permit? Is it that you agree with them? What makes them patriots above anyone who might disagree with the apparent need to continually rehash a deadly event that happened 12 years ago?

Marty

This is how democrats loose elections, A peaceful group of patriots want to assemble, no permit, while others get permitted.

The important part is they were not stopped.

Well those motorcycles might be loud but they are speaking volumes.
Who rides those motorcycles?

Lets see all races, vets, retired police officers, retired firemen, working class, middle class Americans.

Also lets see Harleys are pretty expensive, do you want to include doctors dentist and lawyers.

Why are they loud, mostly so the dummies that drive cars with radios blaring know a motorcycle is beside you.

It dose bring tears to your eyes that that many americans showed up to honor those that fell on 9/11.

It was not and is not part of what PGR does, and I did not go and participate. I can understand this group wanting to do this specifically on 9-11, however, had they done this on a weekend, they would have received a permit.

Anyhow, PGR came out with a statement to all PGR, that it was not inline with what PGR is all about, and if any individual riders wanted to go to participate, they recommended that no PGR decals, flags, pins, info be displayed, as it was not part of what PGR is.

I saw some of the coverage on msm news coverage, however.

They'd impress more if they marched for unity instead. Motorcycle noise is generally loud and obnoxious.

I stumbled upon the two million biker ride by accident. Guess where I found it?It wasn’t Fox, NBC or any of the other lame steam outlets.
