Obama authorizes the deployment of foreign troops on US soil!

From the link, "Obama has just authorized FEMA to deploy foreign troops on U.S. soil during a mass emergency event, defined broadly and in the very vaguest of terms, including, but not limited to, declarations of martial law. Emergencies that our government has been simulating, war gaming and arming the alphabet agencies in preperation for now for years. Tyranny isn’t coming, it’s here."

The link also has press releases from EMERCOM of Russia.

Well Putin is considering making Snowden a Lieutenant Colonel in his military intelligence. Maybe he would post him there! ;-)

Which would be sweet. I would immediately try to become a Japanese citizen...

"oil, "Japanese wedding festival" is a perfect cover to take pictures to do a dastardly deed. this falls right in line with the thinking of "Russian troops in Montana".

Oh wait! I forgot about the Dulce, NM thread!

Jack, did you forget a Dr.'s appointment? Seriously.

Mike P, "I haven't have this much fun with a conspiracy theorist since", I couldn't agree more. "Facts, mocking", again Bingo. "Reasoning" with the conspiracy theorists is like talking to someone that believes he is being watched by the govt 24/7. Remember the conspiracy nuts that had the long list of people Clinton had killed? That fell apart when Bush was elected and did not pursue charges for murder. However Bush could have made a deal with Clinton ;).

F5, an alien invasion makes more sense than a Russian invasion. Unless of course the Russians are really aliens ;).

Maho, "hoarding" or getting ready for the big revolution of the wing nuts ;). I'll let you worry about that. It would appear that your friends on the right are not in agreement with you on this one.

"Tough to do with the DHS hoarding ammo (although it denies doing so)."

Strange - I was just in Cabela's the other day, I didn't notice any shortage of ammo...

First it was the Russians invading Montana. Then it was an Alien invasion {as in extraterrestrial, not the other kind) in Dulce, NM.

Golly!
And all this time the Right was warning us about the evil Socialist threat to our country.

You just never know, do you.

Ive said it before and ill say it again.

There are only 2 ways to deal with conspiracy theorists.

1. Facts

2. Mocking

Facts generally dont work but you look like a pure troll if you dont at least TRY and reason with them. After that after they accuse you of being another sheep, blind to the reality, paid government poster, or something along those lines, then you are cleared to mock them and troll them mercilessly.

Conspiracy theories? The blatant ignoring by this administration of the First. Second, Fourth , Fifth, Ninth , and Tenth Amendments, along with Article i, Section 7.1 and Section 8, and Article II Section 2.2 are hardly conspiracy theories.

From the link to the decidedly BIASED site,

"Obama has been openly building his own private ‘Brown Shirt’ forces under the IRS, FEMA and DHS. It would seem that he will have help from his friend Putin in Russia. I wrote on this last week and the week before, that what you see with Snowden and the NSA disclosures is smoke and mirrors – things are not what they seem. The NSA is corrupt and that needs to be addressed, but Obama and the Progressives are the root of the current corruption and are using Snowden to discredit our alphabet agencies, the military and America in general. He is a toady of Obama’s making."

Good Lordy! Rush is right! (yeah I said that!) You all just want to listen to things that will piss you off! Lordy!

The Russians don't have to attack us. We are the greatest debtor nation that has ever existed in history. As soon as the dollar is declared no longer to be the world reserve currency, we're done.

The food will be controlled by a few single organizations (i.e. Monsanto) and you will sell your soul to eat.

Oh, for Pete's sake, it would require a massive disaster, such as a meteor the size of Kansas hitting the US and taking out major power centres such as DC to put it in a situation where foreign troops would be necessary to take control. You already have huge armed forces plus National Guard and other reserves.
Heck, you wouldn't even let Cuban doctors come in to help the injured and dieing after Katrina, it would take a disaster 5,000 times that level for foreign troops to be given authority to operate in a military capacity on US soil, and even then it would be under US command.

Unless there is an alien invasion, it just isn't going to happen.

As far as that silly video on YouTube, you have to remember you can make video to prove anything, and you don't have to edit, you just prod the right people.
There are still people, not just Homer Simpson, surprised to find there is a NEW Mexico.
There are people that think Canada is over-fishing silverfish in American waters (look up silverfish if you don't know what I am talking about, they aren't fish).

There are not many sane people who trust this administration.

The only way to generate trust is to keep your word, not throw your allies under the bus, and stand for the greater good. This administration fails on all three.

This is NOT about us helping another country out. It is about having foreign troops enforce (at the very minimum) our laws, on our soil, to OUR CITIZENS! The present administration has been quoted. "You never let a good crisis go to waste." This UNCONSTITUTIONAL action by this administration ought to serve as a wake up call to all those who have not yet begun to see where our country is heading.

Jack i don think you are seeing the big picture here through your ODS colored glasses.

For the last few month Obama has been negotiating with Russia for nuclear arms reductions. Such a feat requires a fair amount of trust and cooperation between both sides.

One way to generate trust like this is to allow military exercises between the two nations to occur. Now Russia doesnt trust us, so as an olive branch we bring them here. We need some sort of authorization to be able to do that and a way of showing trust is to say is the poop hits the fan we trust you enough to come and bail us out. This is something that the US has agreements with many other countries saying that if something happens in their neck of the woods we will come out and help.

This is about international cooperation and peace. It is a good thing. At some point we have to fully emerge from the cold war paranoia that still grips many of the baby boomer generation.

So no jack, the black helicopters are not going to come to your house rip your tinfoil hat from your head, and put you in a secret FEMA camp. Think logically for a minute and not as if there is a man in black waiting to snatch you.

For the THIRD time, "Obama has just authorized FEMA to deploy foreign troops on U.S. soil during a mass emergency event, defined broadly and in the very vaguest of terms, including, but not limited to, declarations of martial law...."

Combining this UNCONSTITUTIONAL action with Obama's desire to limit (if not eliminate) the right for individuals to keep and bear arms presents a cause for concern.

Perhaps you (and others) missed, "Obama has just authorized FEMA to deploy foreign troops on U.S. soil during a mass emergency event, defined broadly and in the very vaguest of terms, including, but not limited to, declarations of martial law...."?

Obama (the self declared Constitutional law professor) violates the US Constitution TWICE.

First, Article II Section 2.2 states, "He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur;" Having foreign troops with the authority enforce martial law requires a treaty and the Senate did not approve this.

Second, Article I, Section 8.15 gives the power "To provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions; ONLY CONGRESS can call forth the militia.

I have actually worked with Russian troops before. This was in Turkey in 1991. They were helping to supply the operation to feed the Kurds. No big deal.

On a more serious note I've never understood this anti foreigner paranoia that many have developed. especially when it comes to benign training maneuvers like this.

We have been conducting training maneuvers for decades in other countries. I remember many on the right freaking out when there was a joint training exercise with the Japanese on the shores of California a few months ago. Joint maneuvers like these help to build a sense of cooperation between the forces of different nations. And for something like this to happen with Russian forces of all things is quite frankly an amazing step forward considering where the two nations were a mere two decades ago.

And no jack the black helicopters are not flying to your house to deliver you to secret FEMA camps.

True to an extent.

This is a training mission. The program goes back to at least 2007.

Says the samething here.
