Does anyone care that She seems to be trying to do and end around Congress and using her position to shake down private industry to fund her federal job?
.
>>>Sebelius has been pressuring companies in the health sector to donate funds to allied advocacy groups, such as Enroll America, that are trying to help implement the complicated, far-reaching and politically sensitive Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare.

Tennessee Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander has compared the fundraising to the 1986 “Iran-Contra” scandal, in which White House officials raised funds from wealthy donors to aid anti-communities guerrillas who had earlier been denied funds by Congress. (Related: Lamar Alexander slams Sebelius over Iran-Contra-style health care scandal)“If the secretary or others in her department are fundraising and coordinating the activities of Enroll America and soliciting donations to supplement appropriated funds, then those actions may be in violation of the Anti-Deficiency Act,” the senator said May 11.

Sen. Orrin Hatch has also raised concerns, pledging to probe the fundraising to find out “whether there are conflicts of interest and if it violated federal law.”

Sebelius’ deputies say the fund-raising is needed and legal because she’s doing it as a private citizen, and because she’s not directly soliciting funds from the many health-care companies that she regulates.<<<

If her 'deputies' really think as head of the HHS she is acting as a private citizen when she contacts these people for money they have a screw loose!

Dont worry about nuttin - Carney says is like looking for a birth certificate....
.
>>>During his Tuesday press briefing, White House press secretary Jay Carney ridiculed a question from CBS correspondent Major Garrett about allegations involving improprieties by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius by comparing it to the hubbub over President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.

According to reports, Sebelius may have been involved in soliciting funds from private business for a group called Enroll America to help implement the Affordable Care Act (popularly known as Obamacare) — an arrangement that could have violated federal law. Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee has compared the fundraising to the Iran-Contra affair of the 1980s.

But Carney declined to treat those queries seriously.Transcript as follows:GARRETT: Do questions about HHS Secretary Sebelius and her efforts through the private sector for Enroll Now fall into that category?
CARNEY: We can go down a list of questions — we can say, ‘What about the president’s birth certificate?’ — is that legitimate?<<<

I wonder when the press will start calling him what he plainly is to his face?

<<<This thing was written by think tank groups and socialist strategists. >>>

True... with many worm holes and behind the walls tunnels to metastasize over time. Had to pass it to see what was init. Problem is we won't see for many years.

The funneling of billions into the hands of dem advocacy groups and supporters is just one of many many tentacles of mischief.

The one that will be the most damaging to our health system is the setting up of regulatory agencies with the power to make and change laws secretly behind the scenes in the darkness of night outside the normal checks and balances of holding an elective office.

If you think our elected officials are extreme in their views these will be the most extreme partisans of the regulatory state. That should give everyone a chill. But alas there are some who have a stronger belief in govt then a Christian has in God.

>"The health care bill itself, written by the administration and it's co conspirators in Congress.."

For one thing, it's a law. It hadn't been a bill for quite some time now. Another thing, that was written well before the current administration came to power. There is no way in the world that it was written, as intricate as it is, in the short time that it took to bring it to the House. No sir. This thing was written by think tank groups and socialist strategists.

Take one look at the list of advocacy groups getting the public money from the health care bill and then look at who the CEO's and controlling interests are and the picture is very revealing.

The health care bill itself, written by the administration and it's co conspirators in Congress, has provisions within it to pay outside companies(advocacy groups) to find, encourage and enroll uninsured people into the health care system. Problem with this is many of said groups are Obama supporters and donors.

One such group is Enroll America... “The president of Enroll America, Anne Filipic, worked on Mr. Obama’s 2008 campaign, became an aide to Ms. Sebelius, was later deputy executive director of the Democratic National Committee and then worked in the Obama White House as deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement.” Comically, it adds, “But a former Obama administration official, who spends time raising money for Enroll America, said its work [is] ‘not political.’”

This scandal is in it's infancy but give it time. It took almost 2 years for the press to be forced to accept the realities of the IRS scandal. Now with the justice dept investigations of AP personnel surfacing they may be becoming a little more motivated to do their jobs rather then just carry water for the prez. Time will tell but my gut tells me there is way more here then has been uncovered as yet.
