Maybe Mayor Bloomberg would feel more comfortable in a Gestapo uniform rather than a business suit. Seems he's taken affront at the fact that the courts have shot down his soda ban and is saying that government does know best and that the citizenry should just cede their rights.

Boob-berg can't even follow his own city laws! There is a Mayoral term limit of two terms but he had the City Counsel change it just for him. The idiots in NYC let him get away with it.

Suckling on a teat is the first step in indoctrinating newborns into a life of devout liberalism. When this New Yorker becomes an adult, his thinking is that the mother's teat can now be replaced with the government's.

Seriously, It is scary where Bloomberg's head must be as to where the line exists between personal liberty and government servitude.

Amazing that Bloomberg doesn't want the citizens to be protected, but he's got an armed bodyguard. Just like someone else.

The baby-formula decision was one best left to the doctors and patients instead of Bloomberg's board of health. After all, not all moms can breastfeed for one reason or another.

What this guy doesn't spend, the remainder will be seized by the government policies he supports.

I think Michael Moore is still upset that someone else was skinny enough to make a documentary about getting fat eating fast food.

EZ: "Careful, in today's world, don't be surprised to see a $500,000 grant given to Moore to create an educational film on the importance of physical fitness to avoid morbid obesity. "

Bloomberg being a crackpot isn't surprising to me... What surprises me is that the voters in New York are tolerant of his tyrannical management of the city, and would vote for him again!

Nothing like a ton of hypocrisy to add to your elitest demands that others give up their rights.
.
>>>The New York Times first reported of this disparity in 2010, stating that the mayor uses taxpayer dollars to pay for two armed city officers to accompany him on get-away jaunts to Bermuda. But before he can fly them in, he has to obtain special permission so they can keep their guns: Bermuda is so anti-gun that even its own police force isn’t armed, The Times reported then.

As Mr. Bloomberg ratchets up his Second Amendment clampdown, and spends millions of his own dollars to push for stronger gun controls through Capitol Hill, the online community is reigniting this story.

Bloggers are questioning why Mr. Bloomberg on one hand pushes for tight gun control, but on the other, finds the need for gun control exemptions for his personal protection.

“Guns are largely forbidden in Bermuda,” writes Walter Olson, of Cato, quoting a New York Times article. “But Mayor Bloomberg of New York, one of the nation’s most famously anti-gun politicos, has a dispensation for armed bodyguards from his own NYPD.”

One blogger writes in answer to that: “Gun laws are just for the ‘little people.’ Those who command millions of dollars and political capital don’t have to obey gun laws since they can hide behind their ‘need for security’ because of said wealth and political connections.”<<<

Once more it seems the laws are only for you little people.

Bloomberg is nuts...

But what can you expect from a guy who promises not to run for a third term, and then forces through a change in the city council so he can run for a third term?
