Ac-, "disqualify him from running for President". Considering the ignorance from cons on the Obama birth certificate? Paaaaaaahlease?
Rubio should have drank his water before he spoke. It only proves he was not prepared but it does not disqualify him to run for office. Comics will have a lot of fun with this and why not? For decades we have been laughing about politicians being made fun of. My earliest favorite was "The First Family" record that joked about JFK. Bobby Kennedy was mimed in the song "Wild Thing". Nixon was dogged from day one and joined in the fun with his "Sock it to me" on "Laugh In". G H Bush was mimicked weekly on Snl and America loved it. If people are talking about Rubio that means his name is being promoted. If he is smart he will run with it and never get caught without a bottle of water nearby. When America can't find humor in our politicians we are in big trouble.

Conservatives AND Democrats are making a big deal about this. The ONLY thing the general public is going to remember is that Rubio screwed up drinking water on tv. So he is not worth their vote! Negative advertisement is not always a good thing.

"Oh, wait a minute, that's right.. Rubio is actually making sense with his ideas."

I can't believe Wolf Blitzer would say anything about him taking a sip of water? Blitzer suggested that his water sip would disqualify him from running for President.
Huh? Is that all the Dumbocrats "got"? Pretty shabby argument against. Why didn't they fault Rubio on policy? Oh, wait a minute, that's right.. Rubio is actually making sense with his ideas.

And why do we need the full text? Because his water distracted us from the full speech?
Why is Hannity of all people still talking about the water?!!! That is just keeping the distraction going! Shut up already!

as usual, instead of libs talking about Rubio's topic points, they pick the water bottle to focus on, as if that's more important than the economy, jobs, benghazi, the nearly 17 trillion doallar debt, and hosts of other important problems - water bottle? really steve?

I'd rather see Marco Rubio drinking water than all those democrats drinking Obama's Kool-Aid.

He BLEW it.
FOX commentators tried to give him a pass.
"Oh, it's a lot of pressure with all the cameras and lights and all. He was nervous."
As if there's no pressure being President of the United States.
Rubio must have wondered if anyone noticed how nervous and dry-mouthed he was. If he was going to be that dry-mouthed maybe he should have had a little toke first to settle the nerves before facing millions of TV viewers and having everyone expect him to resurrect the Republican Party!
Colbert could hardly have asked for better material to work with:
“Don’t worry, Senator Rubio,” Colbert said. “No one noticed that you gave a speech.”
LOL!!!
Colbert rips Rubio: Tee Hee ... Priceless!

After he gave the English version, he repeated it in Spanish. I wonder how he was rated on the Spanish networks?

Marco Rubio reminds you of what needs to be done and how good things could be.

Here's the video.
He did a good job, although he looked a little nervous, periodically wiping away sweat and made an awkward reach for some water.
However, the content of his speech was pretty much spot-on! I wish he would have twisted the knife a little more into the colossal failure of gun-free Chicago.
