Ruger is coming out with a new pistol in honor of Obama. It will be called the "Union Worker." It doesn't work and you can't fire it.

Wouldn't it be better to cure those that able to be cured? It was done to limited degree in the 1940's and is being done selectively by limited number of doctors.

Maybe if more people controlled their guns like a Marine does, and allowed laws to keep the inept away from guns, we would not be having a discussion about banning some guns.
The lazy and the selfish in the "gun community" brought this on all of us. Those who REFUSED to be sensible because it might "inconvenience" them are the ones to blame. Those who listenned to the lobbyists in the NRA brought it on us.
The people afraid of guns are taking the only path you left them. They see that SOMETHING has to be done, and that you are doing NOTHING. Instead of standing up for responsible rules, you people take the "I have RIGHTS" approach, with no mention of responsibility. Those of us who have ALWAYS been responsible will pay the penalty for YOUR obstructive behavior.
Case in point. The mother of that deranged young man that shot up the school should have made absolutely certain that the boy did not have access. But that might have "inconvenienced" her. That would interfered with her "rights".
Thank you all SO much.
I'll be keeping my guns, not out of fear of government, or criminals. I'll keep my guns because there are so many dangerous, selfish people in the so called gun community. And no ban can stop creatures like that. Only another gun in the hands of a trained, responsible person will do that.
There are a LOT of us, and we are mad at YOU.

The true Patriots serving our country will not participate in any firearm confiscation program. Some people are smart enough to see where this is headed.

Our County Sheriff back home in Kansas has gone on record along with many other Sheriff's from across the country that in the unlikely event the Govt made the decision to confiscate firearms from the public, they and their Department would stand by and for the people.
As our County Sheriff stated, any Unconstitutional or unlawful decree made by Congress or the Presidency in circumventing the 2nd Amendment and ban firearms or attempt to forcibly confiscate firearms would be considered an outright act of tyranny and would be met with immediate and armed resistance.
Wintering here in AZ our County Sheriff's Dept has taken the same stand which I fully support that belief as would a myriad of other groups including the NRA and every Militia across the country and would immediately join ranks.
