"Moslem...Muslim....means the same, people!"
It is far easier to accuse someone of bigotry than to ask what was intended.
To sgm's credit, she DID ask, but the leftist crowd doesn't miss an opportunity to jump in like feces-flinging monkeys with their accusations.
It's fun for them though so don't take it too personally.

--Now, Jay, I wouldn't say that. How is "Moslem" derisive? It was how the word was spelled for a long time. I believe those who practice the faith of Al-Islam - the surrender (to the will of Allah) - prefer to pronounce it "Muslim", but it certainly isn't derisive at all. And in "The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin", he uses the word "Mohammadeanism". Would you call that derisive, even knowing that it was from ~250 years ago?
I was surprised that Netanyahu came out on top again. I heard Livni's party flopped. I do wonder if Netanyahu is going to have to bow to the hardliners, or if he's going to soften a bit. Typically the center right parties in Israel are really somewhat moderate when dealing with Palestinians and the enemies. The hard left parties tend to be the ones who "shoot first, ask questions later". Ehud Barak was one like that, although he did negotiate and "wheel deal" with Arafat in Oslo. You know, when the Palestinians would have got 98% of what they wanted, and Arafat walked away from the deal? But the crackdowns on the terrorists tend to be more severe with left than right wing administrations in charge of Israel.

Good post, Rab.
I saved our newspaper from Sept 12th, 2001 and they have photos of Palestinians in Jerusalem dancing in the streets in celebration of over 3,000 dead Americans.

Israel election: Netanyahu looks to form coalition – as it happened Binyamin Netanyahu’s Likud-Beiteinu alliance won the most seats in yesterday’s Israeli general election – but in a surprise development the centrist party founded by TV personality Yair Lapid, Yesh Atid (There is a Future) emerged as the second-largest party. With 99.8% of the vote counted, Likud-Beiteinu had won 31 seats in the 120-member Knesset, down from 42 in 2009. Yesh Atid won 19, with Labour on 15, ultra-nationalists Jewish Home on 11, and religious party Shas on 11. The centre-right and centre-left blocs (including Arab parties) have the same number of seats: 60 each.

http://hnn.us/articles/524.html According to the Center for Nonproliferation Studies,"Moslem and Muslim are basically two different spellings for the same word." But the seemingly arbitrary choice of spellings is a sensitive subject for many followers of Islam. Whereas for most English speakers, the two words are synonymous in meaning, the Arabic roots of the two words are very different. A Muslim in Arabic means"one who gives himself to God," and is by definition, someone who adheres to Islam. By contrast, a Moslem in Arabic means"one who is evil and unjust" when the word is pronounced, as it is in English, Mozlem with a z.

>>(Where Moslem women can drive a car and where Moslem girls can go to school without fear of being shot or beheaded.)<<
There is still the nagging possibility of having a Palestinian rocket land on your house or school......rockets that don't care who they hit.
