"Marty, I thought you were a math teacher, not an English teacher. " I am a math teacher, and it's not necessary to be an English teacher to know how to form the past tense of a verb. Usually.

Oh bullies, my kind of people. lol!
You start em, I'll finish them. ROTFL!
Well I'm getting a better understanding how obama got elected. When you don't have a reply, get em off guard with an off the wall reply, to the subject matter at hand.

Marty, I thought you were a math teacher, not an English teacher.
I was unclear whether the intended meaning, such as it was, was he gets things passed, or he gets things past [not sure past whom]. But it's always a guessing game when people don't take the trouble to make themselves clear.

The past tense refers to things that happened in the past. To make the past tense of regular verbs, the ending -ed is added to the infinitive ('I asked her a question').

"Why is it that every time that the president takes a breath someone has to scream IMPEACH! IMPEACH!?"
Yea, I agree obama snakes around issues, and gets things pass. The rest of the crew in the government are just there for show, I suppose.

Make a map of congressional districts with a standard symbol that I saw on many USGS and USFS maps. Even if it looks like a bullseye.

Jay - The map another person made for Palin's political campaign used a standard symbol that I saw on many USGS and USFS maps long before this became a political football. Yes she did use provacative phraseology. If you choose you can say the standard map symobl is also a crosshair - but on a map it doesnt denote that to me.
But Marty just doesnt seem to get tthe message - or he chooses not to.
I hope he understands math symbols a whole lot better than he understands map symbols. Because saying a Plus symbol (+) really means to incite riot or whatever doesnt make sense to him - nor should it because here as in the map symbol - used in the context of their subject they are just symbols.
Ahhh Marty - maps usually dont have 'bulleyes' on them. Call them what they really are.

When Sarah Palin makes remarks about bullseyes, she is vigorously defended by the right.
But when someone you disagree with say it.....?
Let's see now. What is the word for that?
Starts with an h...

It is a dumb thing to do, but I remember liberals saying the same thing about bush, probably some of the same ones that are complaining about it now. As far as obama doing something illegal, he is border line on some things, and there is a good chance that he might cross the line before he is done.

"Overreacting learned on talk radio and cable."
That's exactly right. Constant nonsensical hysteria over nothing can lead to overreaction.

Probably for the same reason we had the same screams about Bush.
Angry, spoiled children of privilege throwing temper tantrums because everything does not go their way. The ME! ME! ME! crowd. The ones who heat up the rhetoric so much that everyone is on edge. The ones who incite others to do SOMETHING! ANYTHING is better than THIS.
Don't you know that some people with mental problems see that as permission to go out and start shooting people?
"Hey, the nice people in that political group said it's all right. They are mad, I'm mad, so it must be OK to be mad, and do something about it."
Will you idiots please tone it down, and start acting like adults? Before some other madmen takes you at your word and kills some more people?
PLEASE???
