GasBuddy Heat MapIf you're a motorist in the Great Lakes, its been a rough week at the pump. It started last week in the approach to Memorial Day as retail gasoline prices jumped to $3.85-$3.89/gal in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, and yesterday prices jumped to $3.99/gal in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky and $3.95/gal in Michigan. Here in Illinois we have jumped from $3.59 to $3.79 depending on your location but that's about the average as of today's date.

Well, GREEDway/Speedway's last spike(late last week) failed miserably. They gave up after 3 states(instead of all 6). Looks like other brands showed a little backbone this time. Happens occasionally. GREEDway tried to get everyone to jump to $3.999, again, last week. Well, I bought gas for $3.639 last night.

Midwest hit with gas price spikes! Tornado, Hurricane, Tropical storm, somebody farted, whatever the reason - fuel prices are too high.
***Excuses, Excuses! Big Oil can charge whatever they want at the pump and we will never have any other option but to pay, pay, and pay! Use whatever reason you want and put the blame wherever you want. The price of fuel at the pump will never come down to reasonable levels, the 'fuel gods' have spoken.
***Take care of the domestic fuel market first and above all else before exporting and selling fuel or natural gas to other countries!
**Putz!! bwaaa ha ha ha !...
Drive vehicles with high mpg, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
