This is crazy that in a major hub of fuel farms, Columus Ohio, gas prices jump 35 cents in one jump with no drastic news or events. Up from 3.40 to 3.75 over night.

Just keep in mind aggregate demand and aggregate supply plays a big factor in gas prices as much as gas taxes in most states already imposed. Those two areas come hand in hand together--it can either be a good or bad thing.

Yea only speculators, nothing to do with war in the middle east shutting off cheap oil forever-and lifting costs here ranging from $60.00 per barrel to $90.00 per barrel.

The shell game ended on march 20 2003--most people just don't know it yet-Iraq is the center of the universe when it comes to cheap oil-and we let our government take that away from us over a decade ago-get used to the sky high prices, without them fracking and steaming tar of of sand is impossible.

Just another lame excuse to raise the prices. We should be seeing decreases in price if they have an overstock of winter blend. But of course we are not, we just get a report that they are reducing inventory so that speculators will drive up the price. When will the shell game end?

If they can export refined product like it's going out of style,it's not refinery capacity that is the problem-the problem is price-without sky high oil prices they can't frack or steam tar off of sand--so they will keep the price high from now on.

Is that why gasoline prices are now $3.85, up from $3.19 a few weeks ago?

If we had one blend of gasoline the price would drop at least one dollar a gallon. That was stated from the CEO of Gulf oil.

This is a normal pre-spring occurrence that always causes a spike in prices at the pump.

Let the stock go down and then increase the price! I still think that the EPA has its finger in here somewhere. A smooth transition from winter gas to summer gas should be the norm!
