Great news for motorists- gasoline prices have continued their decline for another week, dropping to a national average of $3.43/gal in the U.S. while falling to 124c/L in Canada. This comes as oil and gasoline futures have eroded, as tensions in Syria ease, positive ground being sought with Iran, lower gasoline demand, and the switch to winter spec gasoline.

Gasoline prices continue to erode with twelve states that are seeing prices under $3/gallon, and more states will join in on that over the next seven days. While it's generally good news that gasoline prices continue falling, many Americans don't believe we're likely to see national averages drop under $3/gal over the next year at the pump.

We surveyed over 10,000...

How ugly California looks. Dark red and has/will never change. Still close to $4 today. Enjoy!

Basic facts-gas was $1.80 a gal end of 08-spring of 09 because the world market imploded, comodities markets were cut in half-as soon as the market came back so did the ridiculous high oil prices we had seen for the previous 5 years----------frack and shale oil have support costs, below about $80.00 per barrel these expensive leftover hard to access resources become less than economially viable-the world still has oceans of cheap easily accessible oil,we just no longer have access to most of it(check out China and Russia in Iraq)we were tricked with war, lies, deregulated banks into believing that crude oil is worth more than $25.00 a barrel-it is not-but just to get American oil out of the ground it costs three times that----some people on here blame Obama--the events that caused oil to go well over $100.00 per barrel took place 5 and ten years before he was elected--no doubt he knows about these giant scams, and he should do something anything about it.

We were here in the spring, gas remained above $3.00 a gallon and oil was below $90.00. My question is what is going to change any time soon under the current administration.

It wont get below $3.00 a gallon on average, they'll find another excuse before that happens.

Lower gas prices are good ... but if the country and economy has to shut down to make it happen ... maybe not quite so good!

It's starting to move here now...but the station owners are playing games now ....they drop the price at one station and hike the other stations in town, or leave the prices the same at the others...!! Like $3.19 / gal. at one station and $3.39 at the others ??? Games, pure games !

It is still at 3.18-3.29 around here. So oil price drop will never relate to gas price at the pump.

The price of gas is $3.35/gal in my town. $1.78/gal gas would be better.
