First of all you are blaming Obama for A scam that went down 5 years before he took office-fuel prices climbed steadily from 2003(Iraq war) $25.00per brl to crude oil's all time peak in the summer of 2008 at $145.00 per barrel. Some people seem to think some kind of magic took place in the fall of 2008 spring of 2009 that mysteriously W-Cheney during the peak of the worst market crash in 70 years(at least some of the crash was caused by A $120.00 per barrel increase in oil prices during the W-Cheney years)lowered oil prices? Oh yea! please tell me how,I would just love to hear the answer to this. The only time oil prices were down significantly in the last ten years was during the peak of the crash-period.And like most other comodities oil was cut in half-thats it nothing else.As soon as the market came back so did the price of oil.A switch took place from CHEAP oil from the middle east(with Iraq's oil off the market03-09 speculators went nuts)to extremely expensive American production---now our good friends China and Russia are set to get unimaginable wealth and power from Iraq's(and Iran,Kuait and others)incredible oil resources. Our extremely expensive to develop resources dont even come close to competing with that, and that is only the beginning of this terrible story.Thank god there were no ongoing lies, coverups, and scandals during W-Cheney years.W-Cheney did everything to control fuel,speculation/prices-they are both oil men,the invasion of Iraq was A dream come true for W-Cheney and most of our so called enemies-China and Russia dont play stupid games like we do.When they saw an opportunity in Iraq(A giant ocean of cheap oil)and took it.Now they have real power and we have empty frack wells and shale.Obama? I don't like him either-but he did not cause this problem,if you want to start blaming try the worst congress in hiostory for starters.

Anything coming out of the Obama Administration should be considered as a smoke screen given the ongoing lies, coverups, & scandals throughout. The bottom line is that the Obama Administration has done nothing to control fuel speculation/prices, reduce our dependence on foreign fuels, or improve our economy. Obama's sole agenda is to cater to his tree hugging, stimulus sucking, union dominated, ultra liberal major contributors. As a result, we continue to be screwed at the pump, with our utilities, & with our taxes. Nothing will change as long as Obama is in office & controls the Senate. 2014 Elections are coming - stop this madness!!

If gasoline inventories are up, the pump price should go down.

Must be exporting it. Don't think the American public went on a buying frenzy. And I sure don't think the oil companies cut back on production just to raise prices.
