Motorists across much of the U.S. have seen a continued decline in gasoline prices, but for some areas, prices may spike today or tomorrow.

The Great Lakes states- Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kentucky, will face a likely price jump today or tomorrow as retail prices have declined for over a week, meanwhile wholesale prices have jumped. The Great Lakes often sees roller coaster type pricing at the pump, and should expect to see prices jump 15-30c/gal today or tomorrow.

For the rest of the nation, price decreases may ebb in the week ahead and things may be little changed. The Gulf region will be where the lowest prices in the nation can be found, with some stations in Anderson, SC as low as $2.99/gal...

Wholesale/spot prices(for the Greedway area) dropped 9 cents yesterday, and are close to the low for the year, yet Greedway felt the need to spike 30 cents yesterday. We call them Greedway here in the Great Lakes region for a good reason.

As predicted, Greedway states spiked this morning, some jumping 40 cents to get to the collusion price.

Great Lakes states will be jumping again Tuesday or Wednesday. Greedway has sent the order.

I've been expecting a price rise in Indiana for over a week now but it hasn't happened yet. Usually jumps 20 cents/gal. when it does.

This one seems to have been a little premature for the Chicago area charmedmom30's post notwithstanding. Prices have dropped a dime on average since this was posted. But tomorrow WILL be our day as Speedway raises prices 10-40¢ depending on how low they are now - and others follow suit,

Why does it always have to be a roller coaster? It gets really old. Just when you need to buy gas the price has jumpped up $0.30 a gallon, and the fillup costs many dollers more than you expect.

Obummer is anti-refinery as he has stated since 2008 that he wants European like prices for gas & utilities .Yet the low -information voters gave him a perfect pass .DUMB ,Dumber & Dumbest = Dumbocrats .

Yep, any time prices are falling elsewhere, we get a spike for some unknown reason. We need another close refinery!!
